I lost nearly 7 stone, maintained for about a year. Became unwell had to have an operation, sat on a waiting list for the operation for about 6 months. Took ages too recover, regained 2 stone ( 28lbs) over the space of about a year. I had to stop the gym and lost all interest in healthy eating. Been struggling now for ages…

Haven't managed to lose anything since I had my operation, just steadily gained since July last year

Yep, I lost nearly 7 stone, had my gallbladder taken out, now regained 2.7 stone.

Called the whoosh effect. Google it, it makes sense!

I'm low carb, 36 and 29 lbs to lose. From UK also

Can't see me being in the hall of fame to be honest lol. I'm sticking with the gvt and the hiit for the rest of this cycle and then'll I'll see. I've stuck to it so far and the food is just to much so back to calorie counting I'm afraid for me. Yes very disappointing when you've spent money and hard work on it. I think it…

I've given up with the food and just sticking with the exercise from it. The food is way way too much for me. Hence my 7 lbs gain since I started

Currently doing the body coach plan as well and gained 6 lbs in Cycle one, gained one so far on Cycle 2, two weeks in. Not happy either.

That's what I've done, I've put it in for maintenance which gives me 1800 a day. Going to try and get nowhere near that and get at least a deficit of 500 minimum each day with food and exercise. Going to try it for 2 weeks and see what happens. Fed up with feeling bad when I eat over the 1200 so a different approach is…

Some very good points right there. Its about what works for you and getting a balance and still being able to enjoy life

Thanks I'm actually going to set it for maintenance and try to eat lower than that and go to the gym as well and not eat back the exercise calories and see what happens. Its a psychological thing too it might spur me on if I'm under and not over my goal and motivate me a bit more

Yeah I said it was 2lbs a week. I have a sedentary job too. I have went from 10stone 5 27 % body fat to 12 stone 7 34 % body fat in just over a year! Not good at all Sort of feel I bit lost with it all now.

Im in the UK we can use machines here to tell us that. Gyms etc have them. They may not be 100 % accurate but give you a fair idea. No I think I am just made with heavy big bones! I don't drink milk, but do eat yogurt products and some cheese products but not enough to be having lots of calcium.

Don't think I was hijacking anything! Was replying to the original posters post!

Looking for some advice re calorie counting. I lost nearly 7 stone and got to target. Got gallstones, had to have my gallbladder removed and gained 2 stone. Trying now to lose a stone of that and I literally have stayed the same weight for 6 months. I'm back in the gym again and eating between 1400 & 1600 calories a day,…

I don't think it a big deal at all, its jam at the end of the day. Its not like its banned! You just asked her to keep it elsewhere. To the person who said just say no to it. If it was as easy as that there would be nobody struggling with weight issues in the world!
-
Thanks will put it up to 0.5lbs. Try it for a few weeks and see what happens. I wish I knew how many calories I was eating when I lost the bulk of my weight. Going to be trial and error I guess and see what happens. Least I've stopped gaining. But haven't lost anything since I had my operation either in June.

2 stone heavier now than when I was in this pic. Trying to get back to that.
-
Has also just happened to me! Goodbye 6.7 stones, goodbye gallbladder : (
-
My bodyfat was average 0.5 off good a few months ago - Ill get it checked again. So it was not bad!
-
I did get my body fat measured a couple of weeks ago and it was 0.5 % off being good so I must get that done again and see where we are now with it. I must look into a Dexa scan! Thanks

Couldn't have said it better myself. I have lost 6.7 stone and wanted to go another 14 lbs but I honestly don't think I can lose anymore without eating any less or being miserable. My body is stubbornly holding onto being in and around this weight and has been now for months. I officially hate BMI coz according to mine I'm…

I have lost 6.7 stone with Slimming World and am hoping to call target very soon. I have found that it is a good healthy eating plan but I also exercise portion control
