I'm not sure either, but it would depend on how much you use your arms. I would think using your arms to push a wheel chair takes a lot of energy, as would weight lifting.

Yes, I did that too, and it really made a difference. No more Starbucks for me either. I love my own coffee now, just simple with a bit of milk

Not if you have eaten 1200 calories or more. At least that's what they tell me. You get a warning then, and you're encouraged to eat some more. I try to keep close to my suggested calories, but not eat up too many of the calories I gain by exercising.

All the above are good advice, and I would add- remember to not give up when you fail at times...or even many times. It's about getting up again and learning to walk this road, and it takes time.

Hi, are you breastfeeding? That uses up a lot of calories, but it also makes you hungry. Try things like switching to skim milk, low calorie margarine etc. Cut out any sugary drinks like juice and pop, and be super careful about alcohol, as it contains a lot of calories. I just made some for my teenaged kids and they don't like it. They say it tastes yeast, and it's true, I can smell a bit of yeast on it too. Anyway, I'm not throwing it away, so now I'm eating it. That's a lot of calories for each toast.
