I usually weigh myself in the morning after I shower, but some days I forget to. I don't stress about it.

I've seen this thread before. OP complains about her SO, yadda yadda wants advice. Then when she gets the advice she asks for, she backpedals and makes excuses for her SO. Bottom line: You deserve what you're willing to put up with.

I usually grab a couple pieces of fruit on my way out the door, and eat them when I get to work. The weekends are when I relax and cook breakfast :)

Beyond Meat is great, but I have only been able to find it at the Whole Foods deli area, in pre-prepared dishes. Quorn is decent, but does have dairy in it iirc. Gardein makes pretty good chicken substitutes. Or you can try to make your own with vital wheat gluten.

It's difficult to give advice on how to modify your diet to reduce your sodium intake without knowing what you're eating. That said, many boxed and canned foods have excessive amounts of added sodium. Check the labels of everything you buy/prepare, and when possible purchase fresh produce instead of canned.

The funny thing about the placebo effect is that if you believe that something will have an affect on you, it will. Now if only I could convince my boyfriend that eating more veggies is more potent than viagra.
