I know this sounds crazy, but check to see if the muscles in your calves are tight. If they are, work them like crazy two to three times a week for a month or two, and see if that helps your plantar faciitis.

I agree with all the above, but I will add that for me, "bulk it up," is what has helped me the most. A salad with a low calorie dressing BEFORE my dinner. Green beans, broccoli, carrots, etc. with my meals or for snacks. Cut carrots into 1/2 inch chunks and nibble. I was a binge eater for years. I ate healthy in between…

I have been a binge eater as long as I can remember. Like I'm talking preteens. I started on MFP in November. My diary is only open to my closest friends because I want to be able to be totally honest without pressure. I write EVERYTHING I eat. I mean EVERYTHING. Of course I want to lose weight, but when I started my goal…

To those who have encouraged me. Thank you. I made it through my 1st C25K training workout. It has taken me 3 weeks to get through day one, but I did it!!! It felt wonderful. A little burn at the back of my legs, but they feel ok now. Ha. I'm sitting here at the computer. I'm not even wheezing too bad. You were right. I…

You are so smart to get it off before you get pregnant. MFP is the best tool I've found so far for helping me stay focused on my health and my weight loss. Home made pizza with thin crust, lots of spaghetti sauce next, grilled chicken on that, then bell peppers, spinach, onion, cauliflower, tomatoes, whatever other veggies you want, and a bit of cheese on top. I've hit all my food groups there haven't I?

@skippygirlsmom Thank you for that encouragement. Sometimes I think I'm crazy to try this, the next time I say I have used my lungs as my excuse for long enough, and I am finding that the more out of shape I get the worse they get.

Basically the same as asthma. Just takes a lot of tests to diagnose asthma. It's easier for the doctor to say reactive airway disease. The treatment is the same.

I'm new to this stuff, but I like to walk 2.5 to 3 miles a day, five days a week. I want to run, but have RAD so I'm taking it real slow. I'm starting at 30 second intervals and walk for 2 minutes between runs.

I know that you say it is hard to weigh your food, but have you found the recipe section? Click on the food like you are going to enter a food. Once there, on the dark blue strip across the top of the page there is a spot that says recipes. Click on it. On that page, under the "import recipe" box there is small blue…

This is so amazing. Just makes me feel happy inside for you and your accomplishment, and for me knowing that I can do it too. Things like this keep me going.
