I had scale goals and non-scale goals. Scale wise it was 250, 225, 199, 175, 160, 150, 145, 140, now 135. Non-scale were things like working out x number of minutes before having to take a break, being able to comfortably tighten my belt to a new notch by a specific date, fitting into a certain clothing size by a specific…

I ate about 1400-1700 calories, depending on whether or not I worked out that day. I really cut my calories slow. I refuse to starve myself because I know I can't sustain that over time.

Thanks for all the kind words! Hard work and determination really do pay off. I feel great and have never been more confident in my life. It's amazing how differently the world treats you when you're skinny.

I just make sure I burn more calories than I eat. I haven't cut anything out of my diet. When I first started losing weight, I worked out 4-5 days a week, mostly elliptical and rowing machine. Now I go for a run 2-3 days a week and mostly just focus on eating less than I burn.

I have a little saggy skin on my inner thighs and upper arms, but nothing too bad. However, my breasts are completely flat, deflated balloons. I plan to get a breast lift/implant this summer, but nothing else.

I think my biggest motivator was simply being shocked and proud for crushing each goal I set for myself. Then I got to a point where I felt so good about myself that I didn't really need anything to keep me motivated.

I didn't lose it all in a year. It was actually 1.5 years. So 125lbs in 18 months which I did make clear to her.

Hi. I'm 5'7. I was at 265 when I started. I'm now at 142. I'm not good at motivating others so you don't want to friend me. I just wanted to say. You can do it! Take one day at a time, don't let small "failures" discourage, and believe in your self!

Thanks guys! I'm very proud of my weight loss! I love running, but have no desire to run a marathon or anything like that. A (different) friend talked me into running a 5k and I hated it. Too many people and too many serious, stressed out people. I like running by myself, clearing my head, thinking of silly stuff, and…
Wow fabulous! ! Any tricks? I'm 270lbs & struggling
I don't really have any tricks, sorry. I guess for me it was really just a matter of being ready to make the change. I had been overweight my entire life, but I was happy and never tried or had the desire to lose weight. I literally woke up one morning…

When I started I weighed 270lbs. I'm currently at 145lbs. It's been 1.5 years. It can be done! I don't have a full body "before" picture, but you can get the idea from my face pic.

No I think she was in too much shock to ask. Besides, my answer would have been boring. Burned more calories than I ate.

It's US sizes. Thanks

Next week will be 1 year. Best thing--shopping!!! I was never into clothes before, but now I can't stop shopping...which is good and bad. But seriously, I love being able to go into any store and know I can fit into their clothes.

My husband is wonderful and is far too smart to say anything bad about my body. <3 My body issues are my issues. I need to stop wearing my contacts as I get undressed.

I've been lifting weights the entire time as well. The loose skin isn't too bad. It's just my damn boobs. I keep telling myself after I reach maintenance and stay there for at least a year, I'll look into a boob job. But that's at least 1.5 more years of flat, saggy, foldable boobs.
-
I have about 25 pounds left to go. The loose skin sucks, but I feel like that will get better. It's really my boobs that are upsetting me. They look like flat saggy pancakes. I can literally fold my boob in half.

I'm 5'7. I started at 265. I'm currently 188. This is the smallest I've ever been as an adult so I'm not sure what weight I'm going to stop at, but I'm thinking I'd like to get to 155ish.

I used a BMI calculator. You can google it and a bunch will come up.
