I checked in with the HR rep last Thursday and was told to hang in there, and that she'd let me know either way. So, hanging because that's all I can do.

Confession: My team is turning on each other a little bit because of some more creative staffing we're trying with another department...and I don't care. It's all SUPER petty and they've already been told this is just a trial, so I feel like it's a complete waste of my time to address it. Other confession: It's likely that…

I can't speak for their pants specifically, but ModCloth has a lot of clothes in all kinds of shapes and sizes - many from XS all the way through plus - and has a FANTASTIC return policy. I can't say what shipping to Alaska might be, but they're definitely worth looking into! :)

I laughed!

OP, you may want to unsync and then resync your Fitbit account to MFP. Several of us were having issues where either food was posting to Fitbit twice or exercise calories were posting to MFP twice. It seems to resolve once you take them apart and put them back together.

Most people assume some margin of error, so start by eating back only half of their exercise calories. If you're active, you should eat at least some of them back so that you make sure you're properly fueled, and to give your body something to work with for muscle repair, etc. In my case, say I only ate the 1200 I was…

Goal is the calories you are given to eat based on the stats you put into MFP. Food is exactly what you think it is - the calories you've eaten today. Exercise is what you burned through activity. Now, MFP is set up so that you eat back your exercise calories, so you can add those back in. Goal - Food + Exercise = what you…

 Patricia is the one with the mints. And apples. And animal crackers!

This. I weigh myself everyday and track in on a weight trend app. That way, the daily fluctuations don't bother me as much, as long as I see it going down over time. I do only log the loss in MFP though, so they feel like victories!

Peppermints for everyone!

I really, really want this but I'm not allowing myself to buy it until I finish all of the protein powder I already have at home. You'd think that would motivate me, buuuuuuuuuuuuuut no.

This is my life. ;)

I have this problem with the white chocolate raspberry one.

They are very good for this, even the not so tasty ones. We've not found ANY of the peanut butter ones appealing. I second the cinnamon roll and banana nut muffin ones though. Apple pie I'm hit or miss, but I don't hate it. I also really like the vanilla almond crunch, but you just mentioned a nut allergy. Are almonds…

We have a mini fridge behind our bar. The bar needs replacing, and we're considering doing something with an actual wine cooler/beer fridge.

Plain mustard, much like honey, generally stays good for an eternity. The "artisan" kind likely has other ingredients that would spoil.
-
That's exactly how you SHOULD do it! No shame in spreading out a treat, or saving up for one!

I like mine just because it makes me aware of how much time I've spent sitting. I force myself to lightly jog a bit while watching TV to get in some more steps in the evening if I'm been lazy all day. I will say that a lot of that comes from having friends on the app for challenges and whatnot, because I was definitely not…

On the website, there are arrows next to the date on the top of the page. There is also a calendar to choose a specific day. On the (Android, at least) app, you just scroll side to side to change the day, or use the little arrows next to where it says "Today."

Log it as "strength training/weight lifting" under the cardio exercises. The strength stuff is more for keeping track of what weight you're currently lifting/how many reps you're rockin'.

It's normal to fall off the wagon a bit. I've found I have to stop thinking of this as something I'm doing "until I get to goal" and rather something I'm teaching myself to do for the rest of my life, so it's okay to have an extra cookie now and then, but I can't go crazy because I now understand that's how all the…

No pictures since none of it was exactly pretty. I had two cups of hot spiced cider, lunch was a cheesesteak and home-brewed birch beer (a Ren Faire staple) because lines were insane at some of the more exciting places, but I also had Irish nachos (potato chips/thin fries with cheddar, sour cream and chives). And then I…

Hugs!

Confession: I have zero regrets about my Ren Faire food adventure today, and am actually considering making popcorn right now.

This. My face always hurts when I fly because of this. Sometimes I have to numb my teeth because of the nerve transfer. It's a mess.
-
I confess, that sometimes the things that are normal in my line of work just makes me laugh when you look at them from outside. Hematology needs to validate a new set of reagant controls? Pay a bunch of people to donate some blood during work hours!

THIS. Eating is SUCH a task when my head hurts that if all I'm getting down is Twizzlers and diet coke, so be it.

I love the amount of support there is for cake for dinner. As long as that cake is properly logged. :D

This poor thread is beginning to fade out. TWO (2!) posts yesterday. Only 10 the day before. This makes 4 today. Confession: I want to eat cake for dinner.

Wear it on your non-dominant hand, but tell it you're wearing it on your dominant one. That should take away the few "extras" you'll earn if you're a big hand waver when you talk. ;)
