^^^^^ try to reverse it and see if that helps. add calories in and subtract calories out (so if the treadmill states you burned 500 calories, record 350. if you think you ate a tablespoon of butter actually put 1.5 tablespoons, etc)
-
i'm doing keto. anyone that wants to add me can.

i wonder if she has any health problems. personally i hate feeling unhealthy in any way (like shortness of breath, joint pain, back pain, chest pains, whatever comes with being overweight, and these are only the physical manifestations not to mention there are other things that you can't even be aware of without doctors…

oh, you're right. i fail at reading. i glossed over the sentence where she said she was doubling her intended intake of protein.
-
yeah but she says the average is 56 protein and 106 fat and that's fine.
-
she's eating 2 grams of fat per gram of protein, that isn't her problem

fruit calories can sneak up on you. have you seen how many calories are in a banana? an apple?
-
btw, only weigh yourself once a week because your body retains or loses water all the time so your weight will fluctuate. just stick to the diet and if you go like a month without losing any weight then start tinkering
-
you've lost 6 lbs in less than 3 weeks. i'd say stick with it until you actually stall.
-
I lost 30 lbs in 5 months on keto, hit my target weight, broke my foot in a drunken stupor, ended up eating crap again while my foot was broken, ended up gaining all the weight back because i was eating essentially junk food again. it really works. my only issues were having sugar cravings at around day 5 or 6 of the keto…

http://m.allrecipes.com/recipe/9336/alaska-salmon-bake-with-pecan-crunch-coating/ This looks good. Is probably use less honey and fewer bread crumbs in favor of more pecans and more mustard. Also have broccoli or asparagus as a side.

Could be a mix of things. He could be suffering from electrolyte depletion. Or over exertion. Our a stomach virus. Our a lot of things. Make sure he stays hydrated and doesn't overdo it and maybe go get a physical done

Depending on how rigorous the classes are you may want to increase or decrease the number. I took a bikram yoga class I couldn't do more than 2 times a week. But some are more peaceful and relaxing than strenuous. Also spin classes tend to be hard. My point is, a training regimen is easier to maintain if you don't burn…

stress is a big factor (college can be stressful, and a real tax on your willpower and motivation). you can find ways to lower stress levels also (meditation, exercise, not procrastinating, etc). your stress levels should be much lower after final exams and papers are due, so you should be able to focus on eating right and…

i eat a ton more calories when i'm not aware of approximately how many calories i've eaten for the day, so yeah, calorie counting is a great tool to stay around where you want to be. calorie counting also makes me aware of portion sizes, something i don't tend to do otherwise. also, if i don't control my portions, then i…

nope, i've seen people do this before in yoga rooms (or general group workout areas) and especially a lot in spinning rooms (for stationary bike classes). it isn't weird at all and i guarantee 99% of people who see you doing it won't even think twice about it.

there are foods you can eat that are supposed to help cut down on the bing eating and cravings for sugary or sweet foods. you should try them out and see if it helps curb your appetite in the evenings. also try drinking more water all day long (as sometimes when you are hungry it is actually your body telling you you are a…

well, if you can't eat something in moderation, then cutting it out completely is probably the best choice.

hookers and blow?
-
i binge on butter.. just sayin
-
probably mostly water retention. i get the opposite effect when i drink liquor or wine, my body seems to shed all the water and i end up being 3 lbs lighter a day or two after i get wasted. but it inevitably comes back as i rehydrate.

or never

she linked it at the bottom of the radish and chocolate post

it's almost like everyone's willpower is different. perhaps we should be tailoring our diets so that we put the least amount of stress on our willpower as possible.
-
probably the strangest thing i've read about (fat cells wise) is that if you get liposuction and they lipo out the fat cells in some area, when you eat the same amount of fat (or any energy you end up storing) as before rather than it spreading more evenly i your body, you end up getting all the fat in certain areas.…

i don't get it. you asked me if i completely eliminated carbohydrates and i told you i try to eat some fiber and there are incidental carbohydrates in a lot of food (such as nuts) and you say that's confusing. i still eliminated almost all the sugars. how is that confusing? you asked me if i eliminated them all and i wrote…

i think basically any cell in your body can die, so logically even fat cells can die. they might be hard to kill off, and it might not be the mechanism that weight lifting circles insist is the cause, but yeah, you hit a fat cell with a direct beam of radiation and that will die (among other ways)
-
there is incidental carbohydrates, i already wrote that. and even if i'm getting half a gram of carbs for every gram of soluble fiber i consume (worst case scenario?), my total carbs is still going to be well south of 30 grams.

my biggest weight loss pet peeve is when it is "negative" weight loss i have a family of 4 on one budget but the "one budget" is 6 figures so I don't think the "one budget" thing really tells us anything.

i'm not an idiot. i know the net calories isn't zero, but my total carbs is still under 30 grams a day. every gram of fiber isn't equal to a gram of starches or sugar, it doesn't cause a spike in insulin, it doesn't make me overeat, and it doesn't give me acid reflux like starches and sugar, so why would i care about 10-20…
