Thanks, that makes more sense. I didn't see kg any where in this thread. Oops!

Do you weigh 78 pounds at 5' 2"? If so I don't see why you're trying to lose weight in the first place...

Typically no, they don't mention it but I'm also right on the borderline of healthy weight versus overweight so I guess I'm not at a high enough risk for them to worry too much and my health markers are good. It was mentioned once when I went to a doc in the box and they suggested I lose weight to lower my blood pressure.…

Thank you all so much for feedback! I'm glad to know I don't sound completely crazy. I'm definitely going to increase slowly, I don't want to risk injury and plan to continue/up my strength training efforts also to help.

I got asked out by a guy at the gym once... And then a few weeks later he approached me again and halfway thru the conversation he asked if I was the one with the husband. I have to wonder how often he does ask girls out at the gym if he can't keep track. Anyway moral of the story, don't be that guy. Keep track of who you…

I'm 100% with you on the pickle thing, except I will send my food back or have my husband cut off the portion of food that was touched by it and put it to the side. I won't even touch those things. Barf.

This thread makes me so happy. Thank you for posting it, it made my day. My dog doesn't need to lose weight, but right now is her active season. She usually loses a pound or two in the summer, which is a lot for her 14-16 pound self. Glad your dog is on the road to a healthier life! :D And what a cutie too!!

It would be effective for putting me a jail after I killed someone from being hangry. Other than that, no it wouldn't be very effective for me. I would binge and eat far more calories than usual with smaller meals.

Holy crap! You look amazing! Well done!

This is 100% me LOL. Just living in general is hard because I love food so much.

Daily for the most part... as long as I remember to weigh before I eat breakfast on the weekends :)

I think you're incredibly selfish and I hope you break up with her because she deserves SO MUCH better... But for your question I would just invite her to go to the gym with you. My husband will ask me to go with him (not because he thinks I'm fat either) and usually I'll take him up on it. It helps motivate me to go.…

That lifting heavy will make me look like a guy. Um no, just no.

I would try inputting your stats into a calculator other than MFP to get a calorie goal. If you use this method do not eat back any exercise calories because they are already built into your goal. Very few active people need calories as low as 1200. I'm short too 5' 1" and I was able to lose 20 pounds a few years ago…

I use Mrs. Dash chili packet and follow the recipe on the back, but double it. I usually use 1 lb. of hot sausage (not that healthy so you can substitute) and 1 lb of chicken. The Mrs. Dash packet makes it so easy that I haven't felt the need to buy all the different spices. Sometimes I'll add an extra can of beans too and…

I will never give up pizza, cheese, cheesecake or red meats (burgers and steak yummm) I don't like avocado.. everyone says to try it on different things, but the look alone grosses me out not to mention the texture. Yuck.

Your diary does have a notes section. On a desk top under the food tab it's the box next to water consumption and you can just click edit note to add notes in and then save. There is also a notes section on the exercise tab. On the app (for apple at least not sure if driod is different) go to the diary tab and then at the…

5' 1" 134 pounds and I wear an 8S and usually a medium in tops, sometimes a small. Bust 38 (edited because I put the wrong # oops), Waist 29, and Hips 36.

Thanks so much for this advice!! I will definitely take it into account. I had a pretty easy workout week last week so I'm hoping my shins are on the way to recovery now. There is still some pain in them when walking so I will probably hold off on running for the next few days. I will look into compression sleeves too,…

I'm a little late to the party and a newbie but I'd like to join in! My goal is 25 miles in December. Just getting back into running along with starting a new lifting routine so my legs have been a little shaky the last week. :) I'm not able to edit my original post but: 12/8 3.00 miles @ 9.53 -- 22 miles remaining 12/16…

I agree with everyone else. Do not dwell on a dress size to determine your weight loss. I just went to a local thrift store for work pants and picked up 12 pairs to try on ranging from US size 4 - size 12... I ended up buying 3 pairs-- US4, US6, and US8. The 6 & 8 were made by the same company. Just keeping pushing…

That would be 300 calories... 3 x 100 = 300.

If the baby is breech they sometimes have to vertical, or at least used to. My H was breech and his mom has a vertical c-section scar.
-
You say you still have 30 pounds to lose... Is 134 realistic/healthy at 5' 8"? That seems like it would be on the low end of the spectrum for that height. As other posters have said you've probably been eating too little and now your mind and body are reacting to that. I would try upping your calories a bit for a slower…

Does the subway estimate include your condiments/veggies? If so, I'd go with subway. Or if it makes you feel better split the difference between the two and estimate you ate 1400-1500 for the sub. The MFP options are input by users therefore they may not be 100% accurate and could include different toppings, bread, etc.…

If you like tuna fish Starkist has lunch to go kits it has everything in a package (mayo, relish, no drain tuna, crackers, mint, napkin, and spoon) and it's only 230 calories. Bonus they usually cost less than $3 in my area. I take these for lunch 1-2 days a week because it's easy, cheap, and doesn't need to be…
