  • I'm with you. Until my third day, then I don't want to eat anything until it's over. The week before is a constant fight not to overeat. A lady at work breezes through hers as if it's not even there.
  • From Houston here
  • Was that a normal food day? Did you eat out when you normally don't? I would track for a week & get a good idea of what you really eat. Don't average yet. I know I'm bad on Mondays but not the rest of the week. If you eat out a lot, stop and cook at home. I love Breakfast Jacks so my husband makes them at home for me &…
  • I use the Dymatize ISO-100. It's a hydrolyzed whey protein so it's broken down to the bare basics. The birthday cake flavor is awesome with milk. And if any flavor is too sweet, I just add some kale in the blender.
  • I have the Vivofit also & love it. The app has a few glitches every once in a while but they always fix it quickly. My Vivofit name is MaryChandler if you want to friend. Good luck

  • This is exactly what I was wondering. I usually do all my housework in one day & I don't know how to log that time of cleaning. One time I just logged it as slow walking.

  • It kills cats when used as flea preventative (don't know what moron came up with this idea). And that is food grade. Just because it might be labeled food grade, doesn't mean it's safe to consume.
  • I weigh almost every day, but I only record Tuesday's after my shower & before I eat. I also use my body fat part of the scale then too since my feet are damp. I've found that I try to be more careful if I've gained some. I use it as a motivational tool. I only take Tuesday's weight serious. I know some people that it…
  • I'd love to have a standing desk! I do stand as much as possible, but most times it's just not feasible. I'm really thinking about investing in a treadmill or something for home. Thanks for all the great ideas!
  • If it's after 6pm, I'll eat a banana. It fills me up & it helps me sleep. So it's a win-win. I don't mind going over for fruit or veggies.
  • I have a desk job that also keeps me inactive for 12 hours. I'm trying to keep my calories down to 1400 & my fat under 50. I've found that if I keep my fat down I lose faster than when I focus on calories. However, it's really hard since I love food & it's my vice. I've started walking at lunch & got the Vivofit set to…
  • I'm like you & need to chew my food to feel like I've eaten. I don't care for plain soups for that reason. I've started making these for lunch & it has really helped my veggie intake. http://picky-palate.com/2013/09/11/grilled-chicken-veggie-bowls-meal-prep/
  • I have a Vivofit & my user name is MaryChandler. I'm at a desk all day but I'm slowly finding ways to get my steps in. I've hit 10,000 one time but I don't see that happening again for a while. :)
  • I use the Dymatize ISO-100. The chocolate ones are good but the birthday cake is teeth-hurting sweet. I add a banana and/or peanut butter & that will tone it down. It's a powder, I don't know if they make pre-made.
