Couldn't agree with this more. One of the things I love most about this WOE is it's completely changed my whole relationship with food and, unlike previous diets I've tried, this is more of a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix. I went on holiday two weeks ago and took a break from counting carbs. Although I put on…

I have no advice to give but just wanted to say you look fantastic! Massive congratulations on the results of your hard work

I don't suppose it was ready made cauliflower rice? I was shopping there today and was very exciting to see this on offer. I also managed to pick up up some courgette spaghetti...always a fan of quick cooking fixes!

I completely missed my first two periods when I started this WOE. Now (five months in) I'm back to my usual cycle

I aim for around 25g a day and find that works perfectly for me - I've lost weight consistently each week and more importantly, feel better than I have in years. However, everyone is different so you might have to do some trial and error to get your magic number. I'm planning on slowly increasing my carb intake as I get…

After the first month, I've had wine about twice a week and it's not had a major impact on my diet. I've still managed to lose weight most weeks but probably slower than if I gave up alcohol altogether (that's a compromise I'm happy to live with). As mentioned above my tolerance for drink has massively dropped though so be…

Thanks so much for all your comments - feeling much calmer now! I'm not on any medications and eating plenty of protein, so assume it's my body's reaction to fairly significant weight lose (I've never stuck to a diet long enough before to see these side effects!) Hopefully it will start to thicken up again as I get closer…

I started my LCHF diet 3rd May but only recently found this group (and very glad I did!) SW: 187 lbs CW: 164 lbs GW: 154 lbs I'll probably lower my goal weight as I get closer to it though

That's amazing - well done! Shows it's not all about the number on the scale as well

I've only been doing this for three weeks (so might feel differently three months or three years down the line!) but I log everything. I have eaten or drunk things that have taken me over my daily limit on a couple of occasions, but by logging it and seeing it in black and white, it's stopped me using it as an excuse to…

I quite often snack on chopped up carrots, celery and cucumber with some low fat houmous or Tzatziki for dipping. I just make sure I properly weight and count what I'm eating to make sure it's within my daily limit

Another fellow drinker here! I wouldn't want to give up alcohol altogether but have resolved to just drink at the weekends. I toyed with the idea of 'dry January' but it seems like a pretty miserable month to be giving up the booze :D I plan on setting aside some calories for the drink on a Friday and Saturday and making…
