Anything sweet, crunchy salty snacks, and white pasta really chunks me up. I have learned to enjoy more fruit, frozen Greek yogurt bars, spaghetti squash and whole grain pasta. Baked apples with cinnamon and a little splenda, vanilla frozen Greek yogurt.... Pretty good. Still looking for a crunchy salty snack. Someone…

Resale shops and thrifting are fun. As you go down, sell back what you bought at resale. Its not much money, but its less expensive and they get a lot of name brand items. From your own closet, knits can be belted, jeans are tough once you go 2 sizes down. Looks Luke good advice all the comments through.

Yasso frozen Greek yogurt bars are good, around 100 calories, 6 gr protein, carbs are prob 15+ but if you fit it in, they are good. Sea Salt Carmel one is my favorite.

I love mine. Didn't get the expensive one, but I love the convenience of blending in the cup. Use it all the time.

I work long late hours too, and did go home and mindlessly eat whatever I could. Now I am keeping lots of cooked chicken, hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks and protein drink ingredients stocked, and it really helps. Yasso frozen Greek yogurt bars are an OK choice if I can fit them in also. Good luck. For me its a mental…

Contact your local Diabetes Chapter and maybe they can refer you to a lower cost clinic to first find out where you really are with your health. If you are type 2, they have all kinds of classes that are free and will teach you where to start. Plus that is a built in support group you can lean on if you can't get much at…

Get yourself a nutribullet and blend up a protein smoothie you can take with you. Blends right into a cup with handle! Boil eggs on Sunday so you can grab and go. Maybe a variety from a bar..

Thank you Jolinia, I get your dry humor. Made me smile. Do what works for you within reason, and isn't this whole community supposed to be a support system? I don't mind constructive criticism or even suggestions, if solicited, but snide comments...... C'mon you guys....

Thanks nick and piper. Will try to find those you mentioned. Any reasons you know of for others saying whey based powder is bad choice?

Well, I am new here and I feel a huge sense of relief. I thought I was alone in getting pummeled by the main forum. Still don't understand why so nasty. I even got bold print caps thrown at me! Ha! I am glad I didn't quit mfp, and found people who say if it works for you then keep going. Out there it is more like" if it…

I think although I log everything, maybe I am off on calculations and am consuming more than I realize, and that is why I am not feeling really restricted, or bad. I do some resistance and hand weight excercise, and walking. Like I said i didnt feel it was rapid weight loss, i am at the end of the two months that was the…

OK. Thanks. Is 1 -2 pounds a week considered "magic"? I am not being snarky, I am really asking. I thought that was reasonable. Most weeks its not 2. Maybe

OK. Thanks for all info. As to why she wants me to try this, ? I think she feels its enough to sustain my body and still lose. I am about 50 pounds overweight. I do feel fine, and am losing weekly, not rapid, but steady. It was just a question posed to those of you who are more informed with facts. Thanks again

Thanks. I am not well educated in this and sometimes you get so many opinions it makes you confused.
