I haven’t logged since like August. Knew I was slowly losing all my progress and here I am again...40 pounds heavier  Now I’m starting over and making sure to find a fitness commitment to maintain.

This looks great except that I am in an apartment so no drilling huge holes in the walls for me lol
-
Love this! However, I am under the impression that Rogue requires the rack to be bolted to the floor. Is this true?
-
I have actually been leaning towards this since the atlas rack is no longer available. How do you like it?

hmmm this looks interesting. Never thought of getting a power rack with pulleys.
-
Thanks for the advice! I think I am going to vary my days since lifting in the morning is not an option for me. I dont want a morning run to get in the way of my lifting progress.

Philly here!

THIS^ Just make sure everything you are logging is accurate. I have been using MFP about the same amount of time you have and I have lost 40 pounds so far. Most of my weight loss was early like you. A little over a month ago i started losing 2 pounds a week consistantly. I had a few weeks where I didnt lose the 2 pounds…
-
THIS^ I am getting back into running and I am on the third week of C25K. The program so far seems to be working. I would definitely recommend running outside over inside on the treadmill. Just keep running and work on going longer without stopping.

15 weeks and 38 pounds lost! In the begining it was falling off like nothing. Now I am losing the recommended 2 pounds a week. Sometimes a little more but I havent lost less then 2 pounds yet. Hopefully, it doesnt slow down :-)
-
190 was my weight when I came back from deployment in 2011. I was in the best shape of my life! I have gained 80lbs since but lost 38 in the last three months. At that good ol half way mark.

Pain is weakness leaving the body! I repeat this and it keeps me going!
-
I started tracking a little over three months ago and have lost 38 pounds so far! I am on my second week of C25K so hopefully that helps with the next 42 pounds and to ready me for my spartan race in July. Feel free to add me!

That is the key. You have to hit that point where you know this is what you want to do for yourself. My turning point was when I hit 270 and realized how close I was to being 300 pounds! Goodluck on your weight loss journey! :)

Thank you! This has been a great experience I cant wait to see my future results.

Currently I do not eat back any calories after I work out and this has been working. However, that will change shortly since I am getting closer to my goal and the amount of calories I can eat are getting lower and lower. I am aiming to only eat a small portion of what I burn. Less then half.
-
Thanks alot everyone! This helped alot!
-
Thanks for all the advice. I am torn between a Garmin Forerunner and a Polar M400. I will do more research and see which is right for me.
-
Thanks for the advice guys. I will try not to burn myself out. I plan to lift and not over do it on the cardio. I will maybe eat back some calories from working out if I see that it is necessary in the future.
-
Does not eating the calories that I burn during workouts hurt me?
-
Thanks! I think I will just implement MORE cardio with my lifting. I dont plan to bulk until I get down to my desired weight. Glad these newbie gains arent going to hold me back from losing weight but I will definitely be implementing more cardio to make sure :-)

Thanks I think im definitely going to give Quinoa a try.
