Defo aim for an interesting route. My HM last year was the Great North Run. Crowds all the way and a fly over by the red arrows (awesome!). I did a 10k that was 3 laps of a park last year. Felt like shooting myself by the 2nd!

Can't comment on bruising but I strapped both my dodgy ankles last year & the KT tape got me through a HM just fine. It'll alleviate the impact on any sprains you might have accrued. No harm in using it.

You're not in a calorie deficit. You're probably eating more than you think. A new exercise regime will result in water weight & glycogen storage. Give it more time.

I will say I've had to cut down due to vapes being banned indoors in the UK now. Found that I'm sitting with a pen in my hand a lot whilst I'm typing at work instead! Definitely the mental connection of just having 'something'. Good luck OP :)

I quit smoking 18.08.14 - Still vaping away! I decreased from high to mid strength. Then reverted to high. Can't really see a fixed point I'll stop? Maybe around the 2yr mark. I'm a complete nicotine addict still!.... And I quite enjoy it ;)

To be honest I think its just your build. My ribs, collar bone really protrude and I'm a rather high weight at the minute. Some folk just have a naturally wider set frame. You look great btw!

Really what does it matter? I am who I portray myself to be. However I could be anyone online I choose to be. I could even be a guy. Who cares? Most of my FL have known me 1-3yrs. So they're pretty damn sure I'm an idiot! ;) Beyond that what does it matter...

I did the Great North Run half marathon last year. Gained a whopping 7lb on the scales after. Obviously I hadn't! Give your body time to recover.

I was (extremely) single for 4+yrs. Currently in a new relationship... Kinda forgot a lot about them suck! The grass is brown on both sides of the fence

I'm doing a race for life 5k, River Rat 10k, hoping for a place in the Great North run HM, & wanting a crack at a full marathon in Nov'. I'm also looking to hit a 50 total 5k Parkruns over this year. Ironically I'm not much of a 'runner'
