Having my gallbladder removed is best decision I ever made. No more nights ruined and ending up in A & E. Had attacks about once a month but really bad. Now absolutely fine. Took about 6 months to settle and now lost 23 lbs in 6 months.

I sort of went a bit mad after my gallbladder was removed cos I could eat without fear of pain so put on weight. 6 months later I joined mfp and I've lost 23 lbs by controlling calories.

I had my gallbladder removed 1 year ago. For first 6 months after i suffered terribly with upset tums. Been dieting for 6 months and eating less fat and it has really made a difference. Still get odd upset tum but not often - usually if I eat too many chillies! Best thing is no more pain or worrying

I used to be a picky and fussy eater till I met my husband. Can't believe what I eat now. Love love love chillies in everything and spices. Any meat can taste delicious. Even eating veggie meals. I like a few salad leaves with hot meat. Lovely lunch. We have a microwave at work so can heat the meat up and mix with the…

Lost 21 lbs and off cholesterol medication but doc says may not be able to come off BP medication as runs in family and even if I lost more weight and got fitter it wouldn't help

I'm eating a lot of iced lollies. Mini versions of favourites all about 50 call each. Fab, twister, random, refreshers and mini cornettos. Also popcorn and tortilla chips with jalapeños (out of a jar).

I eat chocolate but in my calorie goal. Try putting kitkats or twixes in the freezer. Takes longer to eat and tastes great.

It is weird reading all these posts about depo. I have been on it for over 15 years. Absolutely no ill effects. In fact it stopped my monthly migraines and pains. Have gained and lost weight during that time. Not due to depo. Due to me eating too much! Losing again now at a steady rate. My bone density and overall health…

Keep at it. I thought my clothes were still fitting. They weren't. Too big, but so used to seeing myself in them. Went shopping yesterday and yey.....I've gone down a size or 2!! Had a wardrobe weed so all old clothes gone now. Great feeling out with the old. You'll get there. Bty I've lost 21 lb.

Keep at it. I cook all dinners from scratch and have now found a new hobby....cooking. Me and hubbie eating better and much nicer food than we ever have and both lost 21 lbs in 5 months. We still eat out....just not every week. We still enjoy a drink. We just make sure we calorie count. We are enjoying our food.

Been on depo for years. Doesn't make you put on weight. Eating too much makes you put on weight. Managing to lose weight no prob. 21 lbs in just under 6 months

I find sea bass is very subtle. Pan fry so you get crispy skin. I'm not a fish lover but like this

I'm 4 ft 11 just. I'm on 1150 cals a day and works for me. Not hungry often and got plenty of energy. Started 162 lbs and now 141 in just under 6 months. Not exercising yet so that is next step. Cooking meals from scratch and health so much better. Low cholesterol and sugar.
