  • It's definitely a virus. It hacked my computer and we had to clean it with a special software program. I was getting that pop up almost every day and would just shut down. Unfortunately, today, it gave me the big big, and hubby says it's a pretty nasty one. Won't be logging in on my computer anymore. Will have to learn how…

  • I made for the first time, quinoa "fried rice" with carrots, red bell pepper, onions, fresh garlic, water chestnuts, green peas....with chicken. Packed with protein!! It was a little bland, but a very healthy choice and very filling, I might add!
  • Still plugging along! Mother's Day was a wash out....but my only one since I started my weight loss journey 1.5 months ago. Down 7 pounds! Feeling pretty good about that! Haven't been exercising. Imagine the loss if I had!! Slow but steady and I'm okay with it!

  • Awesome, mel_csantos! Sticking it out and working hard sure pays off!! Keep up the great work! I too, have been sticking it out with slow progress but it's progress! I hit a plateau for a couple of weeks. Finally down a pound and measured yesterday....inches lost! Hallelujah! 6 pounds lost since April 1st and it sure feels…
  • Good for you, Katie! You are working hard, and it shows! Personally, I think that everyone is trying to use their tough love approach (I'm guilty as well) and not listening to what Katie is trying to say. She really has it in her heart to do the right thing and I give her kudos for opening herself up and asking for help.…
  • If you have a whole lot to lose, you're going to expect to lose a lot in the beginning. But I agree with Markavar, you will realize over time, that it's not going to be such a fast weight loss as it was in the beginning. I'd hate to see you gain it all back once you start to eat healthy. Start eating healthy and make good…
  • WTG everyone! I love seeing those numbers drop!! Don't give up!! I've lost more inches! I'll take it!! Feeling positive and will continue to focus more on inches rather than the scale. That's what keeps me going. SW: (April 1) 165 CW: (May 3) 159 - Yay for entering the 150's! GW: (June 10) 155 UGW: 145 Weekly weigh ins…
  • Which protien shake do you suggest, one that includes probiotics as well?
  • Had the same thing happen to me this morning. I immediately shut down my computer. Hope to hear from others.

  • First time that I've gone off track. I guess, after a while, I get bored of eating only clean foods. Hubby brought home Mexican leftovers. Got home late last night and munched.....then munched (grazed) more today. That $%#@ Mexican food! Went over my calorie limit today for the first time in ages (but only 300 calories).…

  • I don't have one. I never have been an emotional eater. I have a thing for cheese and used to reach in the fridge all the time for a piece or two. Not anymore. It was more out of boredom.
  • Hi. No I haven't done a tea detox but from what I've read, it sounds like it's very beneficial. I'm not a tea person, so I hope that someone can answer your question. I do my own thing every morning. I make a drink with hot water, lemon, organic apple cider, honey, and cinnamon. I have found that It's really helping! I…
  • Yeah, I hear ya! My weight hasn't budged either and I'm doing all the right things. I find that sometimes all it takes is to change up your exercise routine. I was doing the same videos over and over (because I love them so much) but you also need to trick your body and shake things up a bit. Today I did two brand new 20…
  • A second glass of wine.....I shall have it.
  • Watching my dog dream that she's running in her sleep.
  • I drink wine every night and limit my calories all day for it.
  • Creme de Menthe. Got sicker than a dog at 16 after hitting mom's liquor cabinet. I can't even eat any chocolate candy that has mint. I gag!
  • Pole dances for a living.
  • Challenge start: 163 Week 2: 161 Week 3: 161 Ughhh! At a plateau already. Geesh! So frustrating but I won't give up. This will be my week!
  • I took before pics and dang, it was painful to do. I am so glad that I did though because when I finally get that awesome after pic, it will show how hard I worked for it. I've been down this road before and used to document everything on beachbody.com. My before and after were in my gallery and they were a great…

  • Wow, you want a great motivator? I just went through my clothes that have been sitting in my drawers for ages and tried every pair of pants on. Made piles....fat...what I'm wearing now, skinny....my goal pants, and way too skinny.....put away until I can fathom ever wearing them again. How depressing but on the other side,…
  • I'm down 2 lbs. then up 2 lbs., then down, then up....all week. What a nightmare! So, I want to ditch the scale and concentrate on my inches. That's also painful and slow. Been working out consistently, eating under my daily calorie goals, obsessing more. LOL. We will get there! Patience is not my virtue!
