Hi guys sorry for the late reply - Thus far fingers crossed the Berg has been a delight have been using it for breakfast smoothies, nut butters, nut milks and oat milks too. Had a go at making Vegan Chocolate Ice-cream where you use banana instead of dairy and then freeze - It was LUSH! :) and the family loved it for a…

Sad but true :/ Most of the cereals pushed at kids, even the supposedly healthy ones, are full of various sugars (refined/cane/molasses/honey/agave/coconut blossom etc etc) The manufacturers bang on about added vitamins/minerals thereby confusing parents with their mumbo-jumbo about vitamin/mineral deficiencies and…

Erm...neither :open_mouth: Initially I thought this was going to be a fish v meat query - Each to their own I guess :)

On Tuesdays she likes to run around Nelsons' Column singing the theme tune to 'Friends' :o

The Berg arrived and boy it's a beast :) I have made loads of smoothies for family with no bits at all and my morning green smoothie (coconut water/avocado/mango/spinach) is sooooo smooth :p As for durability only time will tell although it does come with a 7 year warranty thankfully.

Sparkling Spring Water was what I meant

Dates, orange zest, almonds and cocoa process until a ball is formed in a food processor. Roll into small balls and store in fridge for healthy treat

I switched to Sparkling water as I could never appreciate diet sodas as I really dislike the taste of artificial sweeteners

Hi Heidi, It's unbelieveable isn't it - but it may be due to the cost of shipping as well as altering it for our mains as we have a lot more juice 240v instead of your 120v Anyhoo I've ordered a Berg Blender so will see if it's any good and update you :)

Apologies Ninja customer service is OK I got mixed up with Nutribullet who I was informed were awful and resistant to admitting there was a fault with any of their machines
-
Thanks to everyone for their honest recommendations and boy am I jealous that you guys pay $100 for a ninja as I am based in Scotland where the jug ninja would set me back £200 ($300) and sadly their customer service in the uk is not so good (like most these days) Anyhoo, I bit the bullet and purchased the Berg blender so…

Wow! amazing difference in the before and after shots. My front room gets converted each evening/morning so I can do my pilates in the morning and my 30 day shred in the evening - I am quite slack on my pilates but love the 30ds :) never thought i would say that :)

Thanks all - I'm currently looking at the BERG blender 1500w 2HP - Not too shabby - Have spoken with the customer service about the 7year warranty and like the Vitamin/Blendtec it covers the motor which isn't bad as you would expect wear and tear of the jug/blades etc especially before 7 years when used 3 times a day every…

Thanks rmurratti for the suggestion :) I have concluded that I need a family sized jug blender :o
-
Fingers crossed for you Mrs Pettus :) I've stopped paying too much attention to the scales as I know we can vary by +/-2lbs per day so am going to wait until the end to see the difference (if any) My main focus is being able to exercise without feeling like I'm going to die and be able to fit into my jeans without any…

Thanks for your comments Intrigare and OldHobo :)

Hi there, apologies I should have mentioned that I am located in Scotland so some of the American brands are not available but admittedly do look delightful. I would be needing something bigger than the bullet types of blender as I tend to make almond milk and smoothies for the family - apologies again these details should…

Sound fab - thus far I have only lost 1 lb (need to lose a stone in total) but my body is looking much more toned and I have better looking muscle formation in my arms (thanks plank and walking push-ups) I imagine the weight-loss will come eventually as I'm eating healthily and keeping within my allowance so I'm going to…

Hi there, I have to agree with you about Scotland as that is where I relocated to and absolutely love it although some parts of England are beautiful too (of course) Good luck with your goal and hopefully you'll receive lots of support from the lovely people on this board  Rukia

Thanks 5000th angel for all of your helpful information. I am determined to complete the 30 days without stopping unless my leg falls off or I somehow trap my arm in a filing cabinet :/ I'll have a look at your suggestions but agree I like JM as she gets on with it and doesn't babble on with irrelevant details.

Hi s2Mango, Sadly I have the rhythm of an arthritic-3-legged-sausagedog so Zumba didn't work for me although I did try  I live at the top floor of a new building & my downstairs neighbour hasn't heard any stampeding elephant sounds, which is a blessing, although...she's also a close friend and might find it amusing…

Oh and I'm trying to drop 1.5stone
