Hey, im just starting this too. I think in not going to stick to the calorie goals on mfp. Im not going to go crazy though, just eat til im full. Don't wanna be undercarbed! As freelee would say ;). Good luck with it.

Im still transitioning to 80 10 10, we've in the middle of moving house atm, so once we're settled then I will start properly.

Im vegan, I would suggest to stay away from cheese and high fat dairy. Also try not to rely on processed foods too much as they contain alot of salt and rubbish. Eat lots of whole grains/whole foods like rice and beans/ lentils. Veggies should make up the majority of your meal then grains/pulses. Dont be afraid of beans…

With juicing you lose some fibre, but its fine to do it. You should try and have greens in your juice :).

Im vegan anyway so wont eat fish. Oils arent the best source of fat, better are nuts, seeds, avocado and olives. Im aiming for 80 10 10, just wondered if anyone else was doing it? I know fats are essential but not as much as most people think. :)

Im an overweight vegan too :( mine is mainly due to baby weight though, but i havent been consistent with diet and exercise since. Plus i love food too much haha!

I'm vegan, I love soy milk in my coffees, you might find you won't like dairy after a little while without it. To me it smells putrid now, yuk! Lol

Research veganism, a lot of people have got healthier and lost weight, even ridded themselves of illnesses on a vegan diet. I've been vegan for 7 months. Its worth a try, before considering surgery. :)

No! A major food group should not be cut out from anyone's diet. Its unsustainable and extremely unhealthy. Your body needs carbs, its the main food group that gives you energy. You have to do a bit of research. Don't want you getting poorly. B12 is a big issue with vegans, nutritional yeast with b12 is great for that. Also if you eat iron rich food make sure you have vitamin c at the same time to help absorption. Plant sourced iron won't absorb without vitamin c. Eat alot of different fruits,…

No lol, veggies have important vitamins and minerals if you went without for a long period you would become deficient and poorly. Try to chop finely and mix into dishes or with sauces :)

Ahh yes, sadly that's true, but the way I see it, is even if they only go vegan for weight loss, the more they learn about veganism will hopefully shift there perspective on being vegan :)
