Great idea. I am in.

Hey guys, I followed the advice on many of you. Created a more gradual calorie deficit. And I have also increased the level of physical activity. Since I practise clean eating and was eating out only on the weekends I was essentially retaining water. I have modified that to a certain extent too. Thank you all for your…

What you have achieved through sustainable means is an incredible achievement. I wish you the very best to live along the healthy path henceforth. Thank you for sharing your story.

Amazing! Keep up the great work. You are an inspiration.

You have to start strength training. If you have access to a gym then awesome if not you can always do bodyweight exercises.http://www.startbodyweight.com/p/start-bodyweight-basic-routine.html Along with that try to balance some yoga/ pilates and pitch in some cardio (even brisk walking is fine). On the surface of it, this…

Earphones that stay in place, a couple of good quality sports bras (you will need it), comfortable socks and a dedicated timer (physical or app). You will only improve when you constantly challenge yourself :)

Thanks guys. I looked through, my weekly deficits were coming up short some times.

Once. When I was 14. It felt like hell.

In short: my lipid profile came out deranged and my blood glucose was in the pre-diabetic range. It was no longer about only looks.

@ndj1979 Processed food to me are all of the things you would find in the inner sections of the grocery stores. Jams, cookies, chips, etc. I do lack the skills to bake bread or make pasta, so I do buy them after reading the labels carefully. I prepare my food 90% of the time from scratch. Don't like eating things, when I…

@Justcat206 How low is your calorie that you need to be fasting till lunch? I was initially doing a crazy 1200 plan. I felt sick to be honest. Once I calculated my BMR and TDEE things became so much simpler.

I have only eliminated added sugar/ sweeteners. Other than that I eat everything and anything as long as it meets my calorie and macro needs. I try to eat whole food and avoid processed ones. However, that is the way I feel best. I have set aside Sunday to have a serving of any of the desserts that catches my fancy. And…

Its not all or none. Use MFP to track your BMR, TDEE and calorie intake. Junk food is junk food. Eventually you will need to eat better. However, I believe if you satiate your cravings once in a while (in fact schedule a cheat meal/day even if you think it is unnecessary) it would make you follow a healthier lifestyle more…

Morning coffee and evening teas. Been that way for years now.

My diary is open to friends. Please feel free to add me. However, I eat about 1500 cals/day. :)

Meant: I do a weekly meal prep. Makes clean eating for the week easy. Tsk tsk.

Thank you @shirayne. So far these are the things that I have changed. They definitely have made the difference.* Wake up and sleep around the same time every day (even on weekends). * Eat at fairly regular times; multiple small meals about every 3 hours. * I use an activity tracker. * Keep my meals protein rich. * I avoid…

Hello, you can count me in. Adding you. I am on a mission to lose about 70 pounds. For the past four months I have definitely changed the way I approach my day. I love food. Find new ways to make clean eating a pleasurable part of my life. I have lost 18 pounds so far. Long way to go. I would love to be part of this.
