Thanks for the advice. I'm glad to hear that. Isn't really fun being hungry most of the time, haha. I was eating between 1200-1400 calories to lose 1 - 1.5 Ib/wk. I increased it today to 1630 to lose 0.5 Ib/wk. I'll see how that goes. Definitely going to take the last few pounds slowly :)

I actually haven't lost anything in the last few weeks. I was eating too little, so I would eat much more other days, so my weight has been stable. I agree. I need to take the last few pounds slow to keep my sanity haha. Thanks for the article-extremely helpful and informative :)

Could you link me this thread? And thanks, I don't know why I didn't think of that. I was eating around 1200-1400 calories to lose 1Ib - 1Ib/ week. However, I just felt burnt out. So I changed it to 0.5 Ib/ week. Since I only want to lose the last few pounds, I'll take it slow. I should be eating about 1630 cal now. Thanks…

Yeh I don't really log in my workouts because I never know how many calories I've burnt. I do feel like I weigh my portions. I have a scale and I weigh everything and almost all my entries aren't generic. Maybe a 2 or 3-but I do scan the barcode of almost everything I eat. Are you seeing a lot of generic entries?

Thanks so much for the advice-helped a lot. A while a go I decided to not weight myself but I'm so afraid of gaining fat so I can't let go of the scale. I do think I need to though.

Thanks :) I weigh 133 pounds and I'm 5'5. My goal weight is about 120. I'll make sure to up my protein intake. I do think I should eat more protein.

I just made my diary public

So I guess strength training and cardio is the way to go? Should I focus more on one?
-
Meaning I'm not as toned as I'd like to be. I know I have lost fat because clothes fit better and people have noticed it. I just want to tone my legs and my stomach. I still have some fat to lose so was just wondering whether strength training would be enough.
-
I agree. Will give it some time. Thanks :)

Gotta love the feeling. Experiencing it now haha
-
Thanks for your response. That makes a lot of sense. I've also started strength training-not much, but I have started so that may be the reason too. I'll just give it time I guess

Thanks man, will check those programs out.

Fitness blender on youtube. Their videos are a winner. So amazing and you get over 400 videos to choose from.

Good point. I need to watch my salt intake. I'll definitely do that then. Thanks

Yes, I make sure I weigh everything. So I guess I just need to give it a few weeks. Thanks guys :)

Okay awesome. Will do. Thanks so so so much. You've helped clarify a lot

Okay awesome, so I used this TDEE calculator: http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ and according to it, my BMR is 1373 cal and my TDEE is 1888 cal. So does that mean, I should eat between 1388 (500 calories less than TDEE) and 1638 (250 calories less)?
-
What do you mean I'm cut form TDEE? Sorry, it's just that with the last few pounds, I feel like I need to educate myself more about losing weight

Also, I know that 1200 calories may seem too little, but it is what works for me. Like I don't feel starved. I may go over that occasionally, but I feel good and seem to have enough energy when I'm at 1200.
