Hashimotos (severe thyroid) is just one my conditions. Others medical issues can cause great edema. I said weight gain...not necessarily fat gain. While others reduce your metobolism. I am in the health field...

Ok..maybe I need to rephrase this. I didn't gain fat from a medical issue. It's been more difficult to lose weight due to it. Secondly..sure I can eat 1600 with no problem..if I change my diet to pizza and crap. That's why I was heavier prior. It's not that I "don't know how"...it's more difficult while eating healthy. Why…

I eat lean protien..low fat. And yes I obviously had no.problem consuming 1600 before watching my intake and not giving it a second thought. Maybe I'm just too cautious now and need to add a "normal" meal in. It's difficult because I work very long days. Thanks for those who left constructive advice :)

12 more lbs til my 1st short term goal. I want to lose 50lbs. Since this post I've lost 1.5 more lbs :)
