I guess my lowest was 30 bpm during heavy cycling season. Avg for the year is 44bpm

My avg rhr is low to mid 40's. It has been as low as 35 though. My blood pressure was 90/57 which shocked dr's on a regular basis. After 2 stents my bp is about 105/75. So high for me.

Cycling can be done all year! It just takes the right clothes and bike to do it up north. Yes it is more expensive, but there are more group events too. Cycling is just more social and a great way to clear your head!

Good you're back at it. Keeping track of everything has helped me with my own personal accountability. Not so much in watching my calorie consumption, but more in keeping track of what I have ate so I don't over do it. So far I am down 38.2 lbs. so logging really does help and work!

Bodybuilding.com has cheap creatine. It is also important to find creatine monohydrate as it is just creatine and no fillers. I bought the optimum nutrition brand as my gym sells it, and their whey taste good, dissolves completely, and judging by all the monsters in my gym it works!

I find myself going to the fridge/pantry when I am bored and not even hungry... I now try to go to the gym when I am bored... It has helped a little, but I still have this problem too. I have replaced most of my carb snacks with high protein or vegetable snacks. So I find myself bored and drinking water or eating peanuts…

If you are being active, don't count your calories the same way. It is more important to fuel yourself and carbs are very necessary. Simple carbs found in rice, potatoes, bread, and pasta are bad carbs. Eat more broccoli and heavy vegetables for your carbs. Increase your protein as well. You can easily eat 2000 calories…
