  • Hi all, I’m Becca. I’m 30, 5’9" and a mom to a 2.5 year old. I have successfully lost almost 100 lbs using MFP in the past, but during Covid and pregnancy gained it all back. I'm trying to establish healthy routines and improve my overall well-being. My goals for January : ⚖️Weigh- in daily 📝Log daily 🙆‍♀️Stretch daily/…
  • Struggling with this as well, I've lost quite a bit of weight in the past but its been creeping back up the last year. Just trying to get back in the headspace - trying to stay out of the spiral mode. Recognizing little/non scale related victories is helpful for me.
  • Had a moment this morning where I saw someone else's post about onederland and realized I haven't been there in a while, and when I was under 200lbs I'd told myself I wouldn't go back over. I'm 35lbs over right now after a mix of stress, meds, and overeating and it's time to get back down!
  • Staying home has been really challenging, but we bought a stationary bike to use for workouts and I have been logging daily to keep an eye on what I'm eating, which is a success in and of itself!
  • Three days now I have resisted sweets in the office! I don't usually even want them but will grab something as I'm walking around just because it's there, for me it's all about mindfulness and paying attention to what I'm eating and not just eating out if boredom or convenience.
  • Made it to the gym last night even when I really wasn't feeling it, and didn't go back for seconds on dinner - which has been one of my major goals recently!
  • Forgot my lunch at home today and ordered Jimmy John's to be delivered. I did not order chips and I got a veggie-loaded sandwich! Glad to still feel like I can reach my goals, even when things don't go as planned..
  • Struggled with my calories today but nsv is that there were cookies at work and I did not grab one - even though it was a long and stressful day!
  • I have logged in for over a month, I made a relatively good choice in food eating out today, and instead of going the short way on my run I went the long way and ran 2.7 miles! Also all of this is especially impressive (to me at least) because I have been sick and coughing all week so it was harder to get motivated. Hope…
  • Hi All! I'm working on returning from bit of a lapse in good food choices/healthier eating, and have small goals but I don't want to see all the work I've put in just go away! SW 1/1: 223 CW: 221.3 Jan. loss so far: 1.7 Goal weight end of 2020: 199 (or lower, of course!) I'm trying to keep my weight loss slow and…
  • This has been said many times, but that it is never-ending! I've been stressed lately and have found myself resorting to some old, really bad eating habits that I hadn't resorted to in years and it's been really disappointing. I've put on about 7 lbs so far which isn't bad but I'm right on the line between overweight/obese…
  • I feel this so much! I teach 3rd grade and am constantly making decisions throughout my day and running around and I find it so so hard to make being healthy yet another thing. I try to plan my calories out for the week and log them early so I can just eat whatever is planned but I struggle if I end up eating out/going off…
  • Took some progress pics recently and noticed my stomach doesn't stick as far out and my butt/legs are getting more defined!
  • Fiance brought home dessert, but made sure I had enough calories for a treat - and we went to the gym after, even though I hadn't planned on it! And at the gym, ran my mile on the treadmill a little faster and did my pushups with a little less effort!
  • Ugh this has been my struggle as well! Especially since I've gotten closer to my goal weight, I just can't afford the extra calories anymore... I've been trying to plan my calories ahead (including a drink or two if I know that I will want one) so that I can better estimate and have a plan, even if it's a total guess I…
  • Got an extra workout in today when I really just wanted to veg out, proud of myself for putting in some extra effort!
  • I am a teacher and could've gone to Chipotle for BOGO tonight and had a high sodium, presumably high calorie (depending on choices) dinner and lunch for tomorrow. Instead of saving a couple bucks and having regrets, I chose to stick to my healthier, made-at-home dinner of spinach artichoke spaghetti squash. Proud of the…
  • Weight has gone up a bit in the last couple weeks but ran 2.8 miles this morning and I'm sticking with my plans and not getting discouraged!
  • Worked out in shorts yesterday! The skin ion my thighs is a little looser than before losing weight which is a little disheartening but I could see all the muscle I've been building up too!
  • The stair climber feels so much easier!
  • Feeling my stomach getting just a little tighter after my workouts the last couple weeks!
  • Haven't been losing much and definitely not quickly but a co-worker told me I looked thinner (and taller!) the other day. I think it's about the way I've been carrying myself and even though I haven't seen a lot of change on the scale, that felt good!

  • I have had this problem too with scheduling/feeling like I should be home rather than working out. My fiance and I have started going to the gym together a few times a week, it helps us spend a little extra time together and we both get to work out. Not sure if your boyfriend would want to do that, but it's helped us both…
  • This is me today.. I feel like in one day I’ve just ruined everything and perhaps in the past I’d of thrown in the towel.. but hey it’s a new day tomorrow, and I’ve already planned my day.. some days I’m under my calories by a couple of hundred, some days I’m over, today I feel like I left it too long between meals and…

  • Both an nsv and a frustration, going shopping yesterday I was really noticing where I have looser skin or how my weight gain/loss has affected my legs, arms, etc. I'm only 25 and lost weight over a couple of years so hopefully with weight training and more time it will be minimized, feels good to see progress, but it's a…
  • Trying on clothes last night to see what to get rid of and pulled out my "goal jeans" from before. A few years ago I could barely pull them up, now when I put them on they're baggy and loose (though still very close to my size). Still working on loss but to remind myself how far I've come feels so good, hopefully next year…
  • I realize this differs a lot from person to person, but.. yes period/pms can cause fluctuation, but being on track and getting more exercise has made it way less impactful for me! Turns out it was probably just changing my hunger/cravings during those times so I would not lose weight but just go back and forth between the…
  • I recently switched to premium and don't use many of the features but I was able to change my calorie goal for the weekends (a couple hundred more than on weekdays). Seems like no big deal but I get really excited to be able to have a couple extra treats without seeing red numbers, and I end up much closer to my goal than…
