How tall are you? Your weight doesn't sound bad at all, and you say you are not overweight. So I don't see how eating 1700 calories will help you lose weight if you can barely eat 1000. It seems you don't need MFP

i made a similar post earlier this week about eating two large chocolate bars and feeling disgusted with myself. the people here were so helpful and told me to log it and carry on. so thats what i did, and this week has been my best week yet. so just put it behind you and do better tomorrow. we all have moments of weakness!

Listen, MFP does not want you to become unhealthy/anorexic in the name of dieting. you might think eating below your recommended calories is good, but it's not. thanks everyone! so much great advice on here. i'm trying my best with the calories but i've gone overboard everyday so far :(, but since i'm only starting i guess its expected, i can adjust accordingly once i know what the culprits are (carbs!!).

Oh yes i forgot to mention that i am on a reduced calorie plan on MFP. I meant that on the exercise side of things, is it sufficient for weight loss in conjunction with the diet?
