Originally I was in the mind space of the 'see' food diet where you stop eating as soon as you are full. But this was soon merged with simply replacing one meal or even 2 meals with a salad. I have trouble eating packaged foods because it gives the calorie amounts right there. My mind converts those calories into the amount of exercise I would have to do to burn it and I can't seem to open the package after that. But I do find it easy to open mini candy bars, a least one a day.

My first ten pounds lost I noticed in my legs. My jeans were looser and because I was doing cardio exercises like the elliptical, stationary bike, and treadmill they were more muscular.

My least favorite part of having a healthy lifestyle is not snacking on chips and pretzels. I have found I just get hungry faster than if I choose vegetables or nuts for a snack. But I miss the salty devils...

I've always enjoyed eating at On the Border, a Mexican restaurant. It has great fish tacos, a dish called taco melts, and creamy guacamole. The restaurant itself has great ambiance.
