I watch a lot of motivational videos on youtube to get me going. It ranges from bodybuilder workout clips to Arnie's speeches to overweight people making huge transformations.

I'm on a Push/Pull/Legs/rest/ then repeat workout. I love it cause i can hit the muscles twice a week and have seen great results. Now that I'm in a cut, I look more muscular and havent really lost muscle mass.

You dont have to change your routine like the 5x5 while cutting. You may be a bit weaker but still attack the weights hard. On a cut, focus on your calories and make sure to get plenty of protein so you dont lose the muscle you worked so hard for. Good Luck -Jett

I use to use craze and it gave me crazy focus and strength. Found out it had meth like ingredients in it. Now its just black coffee on ice, i chug it 20 min before my workout, not as great as craze but it gets the job done.

you should always push yourself regardless if your in a deficit or surplus. Not saying go all out but always have one left in the tank.

How much calories are you taking in a day? When i cant lose anymore weight, i increase my calories of 200-300 per day, and lost weight.

Honestly, I think 1200 calories is way low for anyone unless you weigh like a 100lbs. in which case you should not be losing any more weight.

At your current weight and activity, i recommend 1600 calories per day. you should lose 1lb a week. Give it a few weeks before adjusting your calories. if you dont lose weight by the 3rd week, drop it to 1400 calories per day. If you're still not losing weight, there's something wrong. Hi Profilce, 1200 calories is way too low. Eventually your metabolism is going to slow down and you wont be able to lose anymore weight. Than what? you can't drop any more calories cause you'll starve yourself and have terrible mood swings. Can you give me more info? like how many times you workout a week? including cardio…

I've always had muscle but it was hidden from all the fat. I lost the fat first by being in a calorie deficit and did high rep range sets of 16,14, 12, 10 reps for 3 months. so about 18lbs. Find out what your bmr is in calories. then eat 300 calories less a day. Weigh yourself once a week. if you're not losing 1lb a week, eat 400 calories less a day. keep adjusting till you hit your goal. Good luck.
