I’m a mom to a DD who is 5. A couple years ago I did a challenge at work and lost 18 lbs. Last year I fell off the wagon as my mom wasn’t doing well and diet and exercise went to the wayside. Fast forward to today she passed a year ago and still not in the mindset to make myself a priority. Work in an office until 6, come…

Thank you everyone! Very helpful!

I've never done one before and thought it would give a boost to get back into a healthier lifestyle again. I shall choose another route.

I'm not happy with the husband.
-
True. When I started my journey he was not on board so I had to make my meals.

What type of foods to do you like? I love chicken and it's versatile. You could cook up chicken breasts/tenderloins and put them in a salad, throw them in cooked veggies (love steamable veggies), put in pasta salad, make chx salad, or put in a wrap, etc. I would also cook a salmon filet and reheat at work with some veggies…

I was going to suggest MFP and logging. I know it helped for me so I'll suggest that, thanks. :)

He wants to lose some in the belly and tone. I know he mentioned getting a treadmill so maybe we'll just stick to developing better eating habits/portion control and see what happens.

good question, I'm not really sure.

He is about 5'11 and 167 lbs. I do make hard boiled eggs occassionally and he does take 1, I forgot to mention that. His goal is to drop some lbs. and tone. I agree on the carbs and when I started my journey last year I stopped eating bread, pasta, milk cheese, pop, processed foods. It felt great not eating all of that and…

I'll have to give this a try. I workout at work and have a good pair of workout pants so I'll give this a go but might try it out home first just in case.

How's the meal planning part of it? Is that extra to pay for once you download that app? By reading the reviews it looks like they listen to their customers and fix the bugs quickly. :)

Anyone use the app Bigoven? Or Mealboard for $3.99?

Thank you everyone! I needed this and a little good news, my SIL invited me to WO with her this weekend. :) I'm super excited to as I miss WO and the way I feel afterwards. I need to start eating right again and portion control. I used to be very good about my sodium, staying away from bread, pasta, milk, cheese, etc. I…

I bought NOW brand and jojoba oil instead of fractionated coconut oil. It turned out well. I keep my own at work so I'll definitely make it again.

Thank you! I'm looking to try to make my own hand soap. Anyone attempt this before?

Went and tried the pair of Lucy capris on. Fret shape XS but didn't care for how they made me look and didn't quiet like the fit. $11. Would have bought them if they fit and flattered me but no go. Great price though.

I have a couple pairs of Zella by Nordstrom, 2 sports bras and 2UA tops. I saw this brand at a store that sells gently used clothing and it was maybe $20. I didn't pay attention to price, but they looked like they'd fit me.

Great thank you! I'm excited to try this recipe for blueberry muffins. Im trying to get back on track with cutting out certain things like bread, pasta, milk, cheese, etc. I did it for months last year and felt like a million- now not so much. http://cookeatpaleo.com/blueberry-paleo--recipe/
