Getting back on track advice needed

Since June I haven’t worked out or been eating well. I’ve gained 5 lbs and I’m looking for advice on how to get back on track.
Should I start to eat clean and then do a detox? My ailments are back and I want them gone. When I was eating right and working out they went away.

Any advice is appreciated.

Neither. Eating clean is a subjective term and detoxes do nothing. Just start eating in a calorie deficit and logging your food on here.

Get back on track as though you never fell off the wagon. Don't starve yourself. Your body needs food as energy. Eat meat and vegetables for one week. No fruits, junk food, dairy, or cereal. One week those 5 lbs will bee gone.

The first sentence is good advice. The rest is completely unnecessary.
