Thanks for all the advice! I'm not totally sure 30 lbs is really my goal. That's what I use to weigh, but that was when I never worked out and now I have a lot more muscle from weight lifting. I think I need to readjust what my goal is. I also am signing up with my siblings to do a mud run in 6 months. Any idea of short…

It just takes time! Also we are always harder on ourselves than anyone else would be. Have you taken "before" pictures? I WISH I would have done that at my full weight, but am glad I did it 30 lbs ago. It makes the work feel so worth it when you can look at the difference in your body! I do it every 5 lbs and even when I…

I feel like you may be restricting yourself too much! The thing I like about calorie counting is that I can still eat the stuff I can't go without! If I tell myself I can't eat something then that's ALL I want to eat! I just make sure that I watch portions and if I eat junk for 1 meal the other 2 meals are healthy! I eat…

Hey Bridget! A year ago I got on the scale and was at 203! I lost 20 lbs just working out and cutting back on sugar and lost another 30 lbs since fall counting calories! I put the water down! Haha I still want to drink more water since I normally drink none, but gallon is just too much for me. I'd heard good things about drinking that much water for skin and over all health not really related to weight loss, but I'm assuming that's not a huge difference.

My main goal is to fit into the pants I wore before my 1st pregnancy, but probably around 30 more lbs so 80 lbs total! I have a lot more muscle on my body than I had before which means I am smaller in inches than I was 5 yrs ago at the same weight. I'm trying to focus more on how my body looks and feels than the scale!
