  • I really thought at one time, that I could exercise out any thing I ate...What I've realized through this challenge, that if I truly want to look and feel my best, I have to give up the white processed foods and added table sugar. Next to giving up caffeine, it has been the most rewarding! I've broken through a long time…
  • Hope everyone is having a good week! Spring time always seems to fly by for me! Just did the rest of roadblock 1, with the added weight. Did a step video with a 5 lb. Dumbbell hanging off me. I was counting down the minutes. Can't believe how much that weight brought me down. It was a wake up call!
  • Nothing original but I did manage to add tomatoes to several foods...salads, sub sandwiches, cherry tomatoes plain as a snack, and tomatilla salsa added to egg / mushroom / spinach / cheese omelet :)
  • I tried the sleeping video last night, it was not my cup of tea either. It may have been the strange male voice in my ear but it definitely didn't help me sleep, instead it put me on edge. His whispering and constant chatting was kinda creepy and weird. Sorry, never again for me.
  • I'm in a similar situation where my cupboard is full of different spices. Something different for me that I'm reading on is horseradish...all the anti- inflammatory, anti- cancer, liver detox benefits has been interesting. I've tried a little..goes a long way but made a vegetable dip with Greek yogurt, horseradish, ranch…
  • Hello additional team members! I'm Tiffany from Atlanta, GA. I enjoy HIiT, step, and lifting weights, all to DVD's. I am married with 2 kids, all who have very high metabolism's. • 3 things learned from this challenge; 1) I enjoy being part of a team..I like the accountability and reaching a goal with like minded individuals. 2) the early week of no white processed food and sugar..had no idea that was what was holding me back..even small amounts. But since doing the challenge I broke through a…
  • It was a much harder goal this week...it kind of motivated me a little more, only because I'm optimistic that we can make it to the end. I really want to see our team not be eliminated! I found this calculator online to figure body fat percentage...requires a lot more measurements than others I've seen...says it is within…
  • To clear up this portion of challenge; 1.) My group of foods see quote above... 2.) I would say I like my majority of foods because of the seasonings...I do enjoy using fresh herbs and spices...love Cayenne pepper and hot sauce... 3.) There are things I've been learning about over the years to sub...like Greek plain yogurt…
  • Wow! Can't believe the miles logged! That's great! Not sure what the scale will look like for me...Easter was good...too good. • I like all types of food..even the healthy stuff like okra I have to watch my portion control especially if I add salt. I like tortilla soup. Easy slow cooker for busy days and I add plain Greek yogurt to sub for sour cream. I also like sauteed greens cooked in avocado oil...pbfit peanut powder banana smoothie with almond…
