Ha! Yesss. I tell ya, tax time gets the best of me lol. Started April 19th. Thanks!

Hi all! Very happy to have stumbled upon Joe's story when reading up on intermittent fasting. My story is similar to so many others. I've been overweight most of my life but have lost 50-100 lbs several times now. I love food. I love the socialization aspects of it. I love the taste of it. Healthy food, unhealthy food, I…

Well done for getting out there and doing it! Keep going. It will get better. You will get stronger. I just started working out a few weeks ago and while I'll admit, I've been embarassed a few times at what I couldn't do, I'm becoming amazed now at what I can do! Things that were impossible week 1 are now not only…

I weigh daily (knowing it'll fluctuate and I'll be annoyed lol) and log it when it changes - up or down. I like to keep track of it to remind myself. Not that it's been going down ... *sigh*

Wow!!! I teared up reading, then scrolled down ... holy moly!! You look AHHHH-Mazing! Congratulations. Be prepared to turn heads when you decide to wear that out.

Yea, I've been going to the gym for a few weeks and didn't have any classes scheduled that day, so did the Beginner Shred twice. It left me sweating and sore, so happy with that for an "off day" :)
-
I did Beginner Shred last week and it wasn't easy. We all have to start somewhere :) Beats sitting on the sofa for sure.

Thanks, Dan! I'll grab a banana - which hopefully will help the leg cramps too lol :)

I'm in .. aiming for 8 lbs in April.

I know I am ... lol. Hopefully one day it'll all make sense to me :)

Yes, agreed. I should have added that with my shake I add in Amazing Greens and do take a multi-vit...

This is me. Strangers/acquaintances think I'm quiet, my close friends and family can tell you I never shut up! I have people tell me they're intimidated by me, and I can look b*tchy but really I'm just incredibly self-conscious. I also tend to operate under the assumption that most people don't like me. [/quote] Yes, yes,…

Here goes ... I've been fooling myself for years, there is no possible way to free pour 2 tablespoons of salad dressing, so I've probably been downing 1/3 cup per sitting

I do the protein shakes as meal replacements too. I'm one of those people that can eat the same thing everyday for the rest of my life and not get tired of it, for breakfast and lunch. I need variety at dinner though. I like the meal replacement shakes because I don't take a lunch break and I like to sleep a little later…

I use this one http://www.amazon.com/Foods-Whey-Protein-Isolate-Packaging/dp/B0015AQL1Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427384081&sr=8-1&keywords=now+foods+whey+protein+isolate+unflavored I love it because it's unflavored and not sweet, so it tastes like whatever I add to it. Morning one is usually a scoop of this, two cups of…

I'm new too .. and the mindset of wanting to step on the scale daily is very much firmly planted within me lol. I do it and darn near every time, I end up frustrated. I know (consciously) it's too early to see a change from the changes I've made, because I'm not on some fad diet - I'm eating healthier and working out.…

Congratulations! That's awesome :)

Thanks everyone, for the feedback. Guess I'll keep chugging along and re-evaluate in a few weeks, then tweak if necessary.

Yea, I hit the protein goal daily (the whey I'm using has 25 grams protein in each shake, then whatever meat I have for dinner). I do go over on fat grams suggested by MFP more often than I'd like as I like oily dressings and cheese with dinner  Exercise wise, it's not an insane amount, but the past week was:…

I'm going to be a total newbie ... how do I ensure my minimums are set properly? Does the default in MFP reflect those totals?

Did my first PiYo class at the gym last week and LOVED it!
