Congratulations! I have mini goals as well and small rewards for myself. My first goal was met and I got a pedicure. Once my second goal is met I'm going to get myself a new pair of shoes (but I may end up getting new pants as well since my dress pants keep falling down at work). I use a heart rate monitor as well. I can burn anywhere from 300-400 for a 1/2 hour class and 700-800 in a hour class. It all depends how hard you push yourself. I personally push myself to the limit to where after one class my sweatpants were soaked around my butt....I've never had my butt sweat like that...LOL

I'm trying to lose 105 pounds to get to my healthy weight of 170. I prefer to have curves, so I'm going to see how I look then and see if I want to go further. I've already lost 35 of my 105 pounds so far. Anyone and everyone is welcome to add me as a friend!

Anyone is welcome to add me as a friend. I am on track for losing 105 pounds to get to my goal weight of 170lbs. I am 5'9 with large frame. 170 will put me in the healthy range and let me still have my curves.

I easily burn over 800 calories in an hour Zumba class...but of course I weigh 240 pounds and not 140 pounds. I reach my target heart rate probably quicker than you do. I also wear a heart rate monitor to see how many calories I'm burning. I found that MFP always overestimated calories burned for some reason. This way it…

Everyone wants a quick fix. Been there, done that. I've bought silly machines, pills, shakes, etc. I've finally had the self realization that I need to make the changes for myself. These things can't make those changes for me.

I'm not a picky eater...I love all the food you guys listed. I can't stand olives though...I don't know why people insist on putting them in food.

Thanks, I really think my mind is going to take the most time to see the changes that are happening. I've been overweight my whole life. I was 250lbs in high school...I honestly don't know what it's like to live a healthy life until now.

I may not eat back all my exercise calories, but I try to eat back some of them. If I didn't I would be extremely exhausted and starving all the time. I work out up to 1.5 hours some days and burn up to 800 calories. I try to eat back my calories in high protein and fiber foods.
