This is interesting, I'm insulin resistant and I have PCOS, it was explained to me that even if I stick to my calories but those calories consisted of too many carbs i would gain weight because my body doesn't know what to do with all the carbs. So yes you could gain weight even if you stuck to the right amount of calories…

You subconsciously view other females as your mother and the fact your mother had such a hold over you means you feel the need to turn that around when youre with other females ... go see a therapist its the only thing thats going to help you make sense and move on

I find my binging isnt from hunger its from emotional triggers ...
-
Binging is when i go out of my way to stop at a shop and i buy everything that looks good and eat it all in one sitting ... or when im home and i scour through the fridge and cupboard eating anything there even things i dont really enjoy ... :(

Hormonal issues would fall in the medical issues category i believe so if both your test subjects have no 'medical issues' then they should lose the same, no?

Me too !!!! i shove it in a zip seal bag so it doesnt get all sweaty ;) lol
-
I believe the only time it makes a difference is if you have health issues. If you have digestive issues or intolerance it can have a massive effect on your weight.

I cook the same meal for everyone and just adjust my portion size to my nutritional and calorie requirements.
-
Thats what i was going to say ! lol
-
i dont eat them all back just in case ive mis-calculated somewhere
-
i should elaborate ... so today mine is currently at 1250 | 935 - 246 = 686 so my normal goal is to meet 1250 calories but because i exercised off 246 calories (through steps and my lunchtime walk) it gives me that amount extra to eat back ... so from all this site says so long as you stay in the green youll lose weight
-
Mine says ... goal | food - exercise = net ... not sure why yours is different
