What is the point of the forums if you are going to divert the conversation to a support ticket? Frankly, every time you guys do that I reach a support person who seems to have no working knowledge of your software. They tell you to verify you are using the right password and then to reinstall everything, all the while…

Thanks, that explains a lot!

I was routinely exceeding my daily MFP recommended sugar value so I made some food swaps to only meet (or sometimes be below) the sugar value.

Thanks for all the advice. My problem has persisted all week with a couple really challenging and painful situations and couple smaller, less painful situations. Being able to scroll back through my Food Dairy has been very helpful in analyzing this. I have been drinking at least 64 ounces of water a day. Also eating…

To @chan0404 I wouldn't get too caught up in the science unless you have the time and interest to get pulled down deep into everybody's idea of science. You'll find no consensus and it just gets frustrating. I used to eat my exercise calories but then stopped. Now I do not to eat my exercise calories. I am losing a couple…

Today I used * one Atkins chocolate shake * 1/2 banana * 1 large cup ice cubes Came out great, in fact enough for 2 so I shared with my wife and I only consumed half the calories in this treat. I still think I have room to improve on it.

I eat one or two of these with my breakfast for the protein. Says no nitrates. They are darn tasty to me.

My two breakfast meals I generally alternate: 2 eggs, 1 patty turkey sausage, 1 piece Dave’s 21 seed bread, a little Smuckers low sugar strawberry preserves 3/4 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup low-fat milk, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp honey And on a Sunday I’ll have Kodiak protein pancakes and a no-sugar syrup

Thanks so much! Yes, I have tried (once) sitting on the edge of an exercise step and still felt like I was rounding my back. I will try it again though. I am now including the hip flexor and cat/cow stretches. I don't think I have the flexibility to do the hamstring stretch shown. I feel like I am reaching with a rounded…

My goals are to alleviate reoccurring back pain and improve mobility. I kayak fish a lot but often end the day with tight, sore muscles. I want to add in a good stretching regiment to complement my other overall fitness improvements (strength and conditioning). I feel good with the direction I have for…

Yep, my back just hurts when I try to sit and stretch my hamstrings.

I use Snap, it is open 24x7 which has eliminated my excuses and given me added structure to my new work-from-home Covid life. Love it.

I have spread my workouts across different muscle groups on a 3- day rotation. It still takes me 1.5 hours: * 10 minute warmup * 15 minute cardio (usually stationary bike) * 45 minutes completing multiple sets of 6 to 7 activities using machines or free weights * 15 minutes cardio (usually treadmill) * 10 minutes…

Thanks for all the input. I'm feeling like sticking closer to RDA recommended nutrition levels should provide what I need. But here is one aspect of it that continues to confuse me. So conceptually I'm in the camp of eating back my logged calories, but I can't help but notice how much increased protein that equates to. My…

I do not watch my fiber intake. Should I? I previously used the defaults they provide but just switched over to show fiber instead of sodium just to see how I'm doing.

Congratulations buddy! I hope you are feeling better as well.

I am an omnivore. I now weigh 202 lbs or 92 kg. and that examiner.com website suggests my optimal protein intake is at least 110 grams/day. I definitely need to add more protein although the additional snacking is going to increase my calories and I'm trying to lose weight. I have switched from a 2 hour workout…

I kept track of a few days over the last week. On average I'm getting between 70 and 105 grams of protein a day, and that is with me specifically adding in some protein-centric snacks I would previously would have skipped to avoid the calories and help my weight loss. Like some apple slices with peanut butter or a yogurt…

Damn, I don’t think I’m getting anywhere near what I need. I’ve reverted from my meat heavy traditional meals to eating a lot more salads, veggie type meals. I add a protein to my salads but it’s probably not enough.
