I'm not much of a fan of chickpeas, but it's okay. Lasagna?
-
Sounds yum. Greek Yogurt?
-
I think it is, but it has helped me loose near 10 pounds already and it is great for me.
-
^ Hey, that's good for being sick. Remember to take it easy!

Well, I haven't had one, but anything can be good with the proper preparation. Except the tofu dogs I had once, those were terrible. French Fries dipped in Milkshake?
-
Yum! But not as good as chocolate. Rocky Road Ice Cream?
-
As long as you keep your eating in check you will be fine. If it helps you to take a slow walk in the fresh air then do that, but if not, stay home and rest.

I was out walking one of my dogs a last year and a littleish dog came up to us from someones back yard. I figured that the owners were just letting her out and continued on my circle of the block. I came back around to the other end of the alley over 15 minutes later and find the dog still there, by itself. She was very…

I'll join! I can't swim yet as none of the pools are open here, but I do the other stuff. Cycling Goal: 40 Miles Walking Goal:30 Miles Running Goal: 25 Miles So far this month I have 3/30 walking miles and 1/25 running miles.
-
Meh, but I'll eat them if we have them. German Potato Salad?
-
@skippygirlsmom - you might try bringing some pepper spray with you. A lot of Bicycle shops and several shoe stores I know of sell it.
-
I slow run every few days and walk almost every day. I run because it's fun and, as I get stronger and my stamina grows I love to see how I can push myself a bit harder and go that extra 30 seconds.
-
Good to know that they haven't worn out. I had a pair of yoga pants that I wore holes in everywhere but the thighs and was hoping that other kinds were like that too.
-
I thought my mile would be nice today. It wasn't. It had just rained here, so it was extremely humid and got hotter the farther I went. But at least I put a tiny dent in my miles! 29/30 to go!
-
Hahaha! I love how you measured that out. I need to loose 3/4 of my Labrdoodle.
-
Well, I'm a tad late, but this is perfect! I think I'll set my goal at 30 with a bit of walking as part of it.
-
Thank you! I will see what I can do for the shoe stuff, but I do remember a wonderful pair of Asics that I had a few years ago so I may have to look into those.

I don't weigh daily as I get frustrated by the fluctuations. I weigh my self weekly on the same day, at the same(ish) time every time.

I had a bagel thin with cream cheese and butter because breakfast. Now I need to go find a snack.

You can get packages of boneless, skinless chicken breast, freeze them, then thaw them for whatever you need. You can grill them with some seasoned salt and pepper, you can cut them into small strips and make a stir fry (I will add the recipe below), you can throw some small pieces in a baking dish with broccoli, instant…

You would be correct. Most people with thigh gaps have fairly large hips; 35+ inches.

One idea is to bring a small food scale to your office if possible. This way you can keep better track of your intake and you have no excuse not to log carefully.
-
The best way might be to find a friend/co-worker/family member to encourage you and do it with you. Once you get in a routine of this you will enjoy it and start looking forward to it. Even talking to a friend might help. Good luck!

I have helped with a Little Debbie route and you get sick of 'em fast. The smell of cardboard and mass produced sugar cakes haunts me to this day.
-
I just started running and this is so true for me! I use a nice short trail that has plenty of trees, shade and scenery. I know this isn't my topic, but does anyone have tips for a noob?

If you want to eat salmon try it without the skin. I have no idea how anyone eats that stuff with it. Pepper and lemon juice ir really good on it too. Salmon patties are another great option. Tuna salad with light mayo, non fat cream cheese, and plenty of pickles is another really good one for me. We don't eat a lot of…

I usually add some fruit and granola to it or use it in smoothies. You could make a parfait with it too. Add some yogurt to a bowl or cup, sprinkle on some partially frozen berries, add more yogurt, top with granola or a similar cereal. You can make these super pretty, and they are really easy too. You can buy lots of…

I'd love to help! Do you want to start some sort of challenge?

Fist thing in the morning would be most accurate. You haven't got much extra weight from food or drinks yet then. If I weigh myself at the end of the day it's kind of disappointing, but in the morning I know that what I am looking at is my real weight. I try to only weigh every few days and that seems to work for me.
