  • SW: 260 CW: 255 Aug goal: 250 Total goal:130 My August goal to start was 255, but I unexpectedly reached that, I think I lost water weight, but I'm resetting my goal to 250.
  • I went over my calorie count last night and I was Still hungry! Then I began to panic that I wasn't going to be able to do this. But this morning I realized I had had a success; I didn't give in and eat till I made myself sick. I went to bed feeling hungry.
  • I've been over my calorie count for 3 days now. I just can't seem to get a grip. I'm starting to panic that maybe I'm not going to be able to do this.
  • My starting weight was 260. At weigh in this morning I was 259. WooHoo! I met my goal. Due to previous weightloss/weightgain, I'm taking it super slow this time!
  • I mix 1tsp cinnamon to 1Tb honey for a healthy sugar fix.
  • My weight loss victory is keeping up my food journal and listening to weight loss podcasts. I know it's only been a week but I have the tendacy to say, I got this, and try to wing weight loss without any support. Due to past failure, I know where that leads!
  • I am listening to "Inside Out Weightloss" podcasts by Renee Stephens. She deals with the mental challenge of weight loss. She can be found on iTunes.
  • Current weight: 260 Overall goal: 150 August goal: 255 Stay on my diet! :-)
  • Hello, my name is Brenda. I'm from Texas. I'm needing to lose 100pds. I gained weight to self protect by keeping people at a distance. But I have developed a lot of health issues from my weight that I've got to overcome. So to me losing weight means becoming vulnerable but necessary.
  • I found some good coffee recipes on interest that I'm eager to try.
  • I am an emotional eater and when things get tough I turn to food for comfort. I've just become aware of doing this, so now I try to find other ways to console myself.:-) Also I too have heard that cravings can be a sign of needing certain vitamins or minerals.
  • In the past, I went on an extremely low carb Atkins diet of no sugar, no breads, no fruit. I ate sugar free jello with whip cream, and drank a lot of sweet diet rootbeer. When I was tempted by sugar, I would change my thoughts to something else. Eventually, after losing about 40pds I fell off the diet. I was super…
  • I'm new at calorie counting so I too eat first and look it up later only to be walloped by how many calories those few bites added up to. So now I warily look it up first and am very glad I did! :-)
  • I ate a handful of almonds because that was all I could have to stay within my calorie limits.:-)
  • I have the same problem with meat too. I did a little Google search for high protein foods and here are some I found: eggs, protein shakes, Greek yogurt, milk, cottage cheese, and beans.
  • A friend of mine is using this for weight loss. She says she lost 31pds already. My grandmother also swears by it. I'm going to try it out. I like the lemon idea you put in yours!
