I agree, keeping busy helps and drinking plenty. Finding snacks you can snack on if you get hungry, i use rice cakes, bread sticks, ice lollies. It does get easier x

I feel your pain. I lost 3 stone+ then since Christmas have slowly gained 2 stone!!!! I have been back on track the last few weeks.

Looking to add some friends to help encourage and challenge x https://www.fitbit.com/user/3V9Y89

Ive just had similar happen to me. Been around 5 weeks with my weight going up and down, but finally this week ive dropped 4lbs. So just stick at it, sometimes increasing what you eat for a day or two then dropping back down again can trigger your loss, drinking plenty of water and sometimes you can be losing inches…

So guilty of a couple of them!

Ive got a fitbit hr, got it from amazon for around £65 and it does everything you are asking. Also seen this morning on tv that Currys are selling i think its a jawbone one for around £45 =…

Ive read many different opinions. Some people say once a week as your weight fluctuates daily, but if you do weigh daily to log it each day so you can see the fluctuations. It is what ever works for you.
-
Do you weigh your food?
-
I try and eat back around 50% of what either my fitbit or gym equipment state, and both state the same number to be fair.
-
Your on my friends list but under another name!

Find something you enjoy doing, much easier to make time for something you enjoy. I personally enjoy swimming several times a week.
-
Ensure you use food scales, dont deny yourself anything you enjoy, simply eat less of it and log it. I eat much the same as i did before, just more portion control. Ive lost 42lbs in 187 days, its not always been easy, you will have bad days, but dont stress and just start again the next day. Take is slow and steady and…

You do need to make sure you eat well esp when exercising. I found i was pushing my body to hard and was constantly exhausted and not eating enough. I now ensure i eat around 2 hrs before exercising and ensure i eat something afterwards and i now have much more energy and feel fit and healthy x

Everything in moderation, your body needs something from everything. I overdosed on sugar a few days last week and both days ended up feeling lethargic and achy, so back on track now.

Good luck Kate, please feel free to add me also. We are a great bunch on MFP and love to motivate each other. Please feel free to add me as a friend, been doing this for 187 days and lost 42lbs so hopefully will be able to help you if you need x

2lbs is a good loss, you will get weeks where it might be more or might be less, just go with the flow and enjoy eating better and moving more and feeling better about yourself. Give yourself realistic goals and even if you dont hit them keep going x
-
Feel free to add me, 187 day streak and 42lbs lost so kind of a pro lol
-
Feel free to add me x

I find just having a slice of toast or a crumpet is enough to see me thru to dinner after exercising. Unless you are cutting down on carbs of course. If you want it eat it and just log it
-
I started off with 70lb's to lose to my first goal, now lost 42lbs, so guys feel free to add me x

All i can suggest is you weigh your food so you can be more accurate, find a exercise you enjoy. I swim 3 times a week and started the gym 2x a week recently. It is always hard to start with and so easy to slip back but as was said above its a marathon not a sprint and you have to be prepared for it not to happen over…
-
You need to eat more, but first buy some food scales so you can be more confident in what you are eating.
-
I let mfp set it for me so its still the default setting. Its currently set at 50% carbs, 30% protein and 20% fat, that fits in well with my diet and i mostly stay under, tho i do go over on sugar some days but im still losing so not overly worried.
-
Buy a set of food scales and weigh your food, allows you to see the difference in what you were eating and what you should be eating. Measure yourself as some weeks you may not lose weight so its good to be able to see you are shrinking. Remember weight loss is not a sprint its a marathon and somedays you wont do so well,…

Feel free to add me as a friend, the more friends you have the more motivated you are to stay on track, good luck x
