Week 1!!!

Hi!
I am going to try and write a quick note weekly or bi-weekly regarding progress, or even lack of progress. We all have tough weeks so I want to keep track of those as well. So far, I have lost 2 pounds in the first week. I worked out 5 days so far, today will be 6 but I have a little fever so I might go easy. I'm feeling a bit of anxiety as a 2 pound weight loss, although healthy, doesn't feel like enough for me. I think that my own ridiculous goals might be my downfall...I'm trying to be patient though. I hope everyone is doing well and I would love to hear about how YOU are doing. I think the support from others is the best part of a site like this. ....and thank you in advance for sharing (~:

2lbs is a good loss, you will get weeks where it might be more or might be less, just go with the flow and enjoy eating better and moving more and feeling better about yourself. Give yourself realistic goals and even if you dont hit them keep going x0

There's something about having a bunch of weight to lose that makes us think "only 2 lbs! It's just a drop in the bucket!" But that's a really dramatic rate of loss, and if you can just be patient for a few weeks it will be quite apparent. Also, after a few weeks, it will be clear that you can keep this up for quite a while, and meet your ultimate goal in a reasonable time--even though it's not the overnight success we'd prefer!0

I have chosen the tortoise, not the hare. I set my goal to 2 pounds a week, and if i lose any i am happy. I have been doing this about 3 weeks and am down a total of 11 pounds. I still have a lot more to go. I love to cook, and i make my meals for 3 days ahead of time so i can plan everything properly. If you want a friend, just add me.0

I'm back on the wagon! I know I need to get fit for myself. Best of luck!0

I read that losing weight to fast is not good for you, can put your body in starvation mode. They recommend 1 to 2 pounds per week, so you are perfect.0
