I think your body shape changes once you have had a baby i know i store most of my fat around my middle now and after 3 kids my tummy is the most stubborn to shift the fat from. Just take your time, log everything, weigh all your food and keep active and im sure it will start to shift at some point.

Using a food scale makes a huge difference as you can be over eating without realizing it.

I treat myself to a bag of crisps and a crunchie bar most evenings, its my treat and helps me feel im not missing out. Eat what you want as long as your eating a calorie deficit you will still lose.

I would increase your calories for a few days see if that helps things shift. I find hormones can play havok with my 'morning' ritual. Also dont drink too much water and too much fiber could have the opposite effect, maybe just cut back on fibre for a day or two x

I suffer with anxiety and i have really found that exercise does help, even if for that hour a day i dont think about what is making me anxious

I suffer from stress and anxiety and have found regular exercise helps. I have changed my relationship with food and now see it as fuel for my body rather then the 'crutch' when i need emotional support. I am adamant i will not gain weight again, i have days where i dont log my food and just enjoy a normal days of eating.

My weight is up and down most weeks. I have pledged to only weigh myself once a week.

Good luck x

The substances in green tea increase levels of hormones that tell fat cells to break down fat. This releases fat into the bloodstream and makes it available as energy - that is what ive just read.

Im not surprised your tired you are working, exercising and looking after a little one. Make sure you are eating enough and try to eat back some of your exercise calories. I found i was tired to start with esp with the increase in exercise, i try and eat plenty of protein and over time you find your energy increases.

Whatever works for you, WW clearly has worked for you in the past and i suppose they both work in the same way in that you get so many points each day which equal a set amount of calories, you just have to ensure once you get to your goal weight you continue to maintain x

What's up?

Best of luck xx

Ive added you x

What does MFP set your calorie goal as? Is 1268 maintainable in the long term? I set mine at 1400, it should be slightly lower but as i exercise for a hour 4x week i feel any lower would make me want to snack and defeat the object.

I had a bacon butty this morning, but that is my weekend treat. Most days it is 2 slices of wholemeal toast x

Thats nearly 7 miles a day so your walking really far and the more you weigh the more you will burn. Dont eat back all the calories but certainly eat around 50% of the back and see how you go.
-
Im in the uk, feel free to add. There are plenty of us around x

Drink plenty of water as that helps wash out all the rubbish and also maybe increase you calories for a day or two then drop down, i sometimes find that helps kick start things again. I also find certain 'times of the month' halt my progress as i get water retention. It does pass tho so dont feel disheartened x
-
It gets easier, yes the first week or so is tough but i find i can eat the same diet as i did before i just have smaller portions and weigh things first.
-
Eat less and move more is the cheapest and best method of weight loss x
-

Hi Heather, i also suffer with anxiety and find some days very difficult. I found regular exercise has helped me tremendously and also losing weigh has made me feel better about myself which in turn gives me more confidence and helps my anxiety in certain situations. I always try and save myself some calories each day for…
