And should probably mention that I'm a basketball player. Currently a junior college player. Transferred from a division 1 due to having a beautiful baby boy! But any way, I'm currently sidelined due to a shin fracture so not much cardio will be going on because of surgery lol for about the next 2-3 months probably.

My results have been somewhat mediocre I guess over the past 2-3 weeks. Haven't lost but maybe a pound.
-
I usually maybe drink one protein shake a day if I run out of chicken or the protein I have cooked for that day. I try to stick to that actual whole foods for the most part.
-
Well I appreciate the input! Yeah definitely though some days I find myself craving some extra carbs, or find myself needing to restrict a couple carbs in some Meals because I use them up pretty easily. So I may take that approach and lower my proteins to around 1 g per pound. Then up my carbs a little. I do love me some…
-
I've done it with lower protein percentages and found myself a lot more hungry. That's just my experience though
-
Gotta keep that muscle on!!! Lol
-
Well those people aren't serious about being healthy if they truly use it as an excuse to over eat on the foods high in calories. Know what I mean?
-
I agree it works well for me! Just gotta know how and when to fit it in
-
Thank you! They sure are a challenge lol. Nothing but love though. I appreciate it.
-
My bad lol, you sounded kinda doubtful that's all. I'm sorry. My mistake. I appreciate the help, and Advice though

Yes, I would imagine they would help me even though I'm not actually there yet. I'm just not acquainted with their coach yet. So that's a little awkward, know what I mean lol? But that's a good idea. I could still get in touch with him probably.
-
Oh, I didn't mean to come off in a mean way. Not at all! Sorry about that

Look at the comment right above, I'm between schools right now. So I can't go to a coach at this point. I don't techniqually have a strength coach cause I haven't fully transferred yet. And enrolled in my new school.

I am a division 1 athlete, I just had a little boy and had to transfer from the University of New Orleans to come back home and take care of my family, and I'm in the process of transferring to Lamar University, a division 1 school in my hometown that didn't recruit me coming out of high school. So I'm in between right now…

I think maybe that picture gives me more justice than I deserve. But I think I could loose 10 and it would help tremendously as far as my vertical and explosiveness. I workout extremely extremely hard. Many times I will go to the gym and lift and lift some in my home gym that I have set up. So I think if I did anymore,…

Yes, it wasn't really fun lol. Just got some bad advice.

Currently coming off a shin fracture too, so my cardio has been non existent because I'm not cleared to run yet. So I know with that cardio it'll up fat loss. But I guess techniqually I'm not doing much cardio at this very moment due to my injury, and probably won't for about two or three weeks

I agree that I should base a lot of what I'm doing based off court workouts and practices and what not. Was just trying to get an estimate of which direction I should go in. Because I've gotten a ton of different information about it, and leaning toward staying around 3,000ish calories. Just wanted a little clarification…
-
It's more sport related, than me wanting to just "look" good. Though that would be nice to. Trying to lean out. Get quicker, more explosive, faster. I'm extremely strong already and that part of my game is great. Just trying to lean out some and add more to my game.

I track my calories daily. And track my macros and have no problem with any of that. The only problem I have is where I actually need to set my calorie limit at. Excuse me, sorry didn't mean "hold onto" My body is almost going into starvation mode because I wasn't giving it enough. So I was burning more muscle than fat…

Yes! I had a big cheat meal Sunday which is usual. Then upped my calories from 1800 to 2800. I went from about to 212 Sunday and woke up today and weighed 217. I was surprised. But that does make sense.
-
But yes I agree macros are definitely important and I have no problem hitting those. The only problem is Ive struggled with where exactly my calorie limit should be. I actually managed to eat 1700-1800 for about two weeks. Which is ridiculously low. So I can handle calories, just want to be getting the right amount in for…

Yes I originally figured I would start around 3300 and go from there and reduce if I needed too. But I talked myself out of it cause I'm stubborn about trying to get rid of the fat that I have so I'm eating about 2800 but it's only been a few days on that. I was originally eating way under that due to bad advice and I…
