I did set the program to help me gain a half a pound a week. That, combined with my current weight and my goal weight and my activity level. It programmed it to be 2,400 calories.

I didn't mean to lose it. It mainly came from abusing the treadmill at the gym. Recently quit the membership so that I could focus more on gaining back what I lost, but I still would like to do this cardio. Even if it's 5 miles, it doesn't even compare to the amount I was burning abusing the treadmill.

Thank you for the Insight, guys.

I do. I used to have gastroparesis, and I need to eat low.

I'm looking to gain half a pound a week. I'm currently 100 and need to gain at least 15.

Now mine is working again. Go figure!

I guess I spoke too soon about my Fitbit working properly with myfitnesspal again. It's doing the same crap it did the other day by not accounting for any extra steps I've already taken today. I'm becoming very frustrated with this. I wish the developers would quit f****** with the app.

My steps are suddenly back showing up this morning. They must've fixed the bug last night.
-
I tried that method. It didn't fix my FitBiT Charge 2.
-
Same thing as you and JGStorie.
-
We have that selected as the steps source. THAT is not the problem. The problem started right after the latest update. It has to be something on MFP's end.

Mine was working fine before I installed the latest update. Now all the steps that I accumulated before the update show up, but the ones I accumulated after the update won't show. I've tried syncing, disconnecting and reconnecting apps, uninstalling and reinstalling apps. Nothing. I'm fed up with MFP!
-
Which is where? Can you kindly direct me there?

I've noticed that since I installed the newest update this morning, my fit bit steps are not syncing with the app anymore. It won't update the steps I'm now up to. What is the problem?
-
I will add that I probably fit in to the very active category.
-
It isn't telling me. :/

Mfp currently has an issue where the calories burnt from walking steps are not being counted correctly. They claim to have fixed it in the latest version, but it's nowhere accurate. It's been very frustrating for a lot of people. I personally know you can burn more than 250 calories from walking 25,000 steps!

I didn't know it, but my dad ended up getting me the Fitbit Charge 2 for my birthday. So my husband doesn't have to get me one. I still haven't tried it yet, but I would like to know some results. I kind of wish I had went with the Garmin. But what is done is done. Thanks for all the helpful tips, guys! I still might…

I usually do long walks. I'm mainly looking for a fitness tracker that will tell me how many steps I take each day and how many calories I have burned. I also wouldn't mind knowing my heart rate. I'm sort of leaning towards getting a Fitbit Charger 2, but I'm not sure.
