  • I always look cut AF after drinking because I’m hella dehydrated. Look fabulous though lol
  • Ummm wat.... sorry but I’m a nurse and oxygen tablets for your colon is maybe one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard lol. Can you say: scam?
  • When I get drunk I start ordering "Red Bull and diet vodka" lol! Course it doesn't take me much to get drunk so I usually get what I want!
  • Get fitted for a decent bra. Try the subreddit a bra that fits. Might make a huge difference in how you look. That said they might never go away without a reduction.
  • My nurse prac that first tested my ferritin said that she recommends keeping above 25 for women to help combat fatigue so that drop could definitely contribute along with the b12 and vitamin D. Vitamin D is often missed and I usually try to remember to supplement it's a common deficiency where I live. Definitely check your…
  • Live in Colorado- hiking is life here lol'
  • Are you overtraining and physically worn out? That's quite a few runs. If you have hypothyroidism you should feel better once they start you on meds. Hypothyroidism is reasonably easy to diagnosis and manage/ in sure they at least ran a CBC and CMP in addition to thyroid function. Doesn't hurt to ask for a ferritin level…
  • As long as you didn't feel significantly short of breath (which could be a sign of a post op complication pulmonary embolism) probably normal. You're body is focused on healing from the surgery so other areas might take a back burner.
  • Anyone that can see you, can see your size. No one needs an exact number to know whether you're packing a bunch extra or packing light.
  • I gain and lose pretty evenly- genetics blessed with me an hour glass shape and I've never gotten big enough to lose it. I did gain a few lbs this winter and was pleased they mostly went into my butt and boobs- snowboarding is good for the booty!
  • It's good your going to get checked up don't be afraid to ask questions! Just remember if we don't send you in an ER or an ambulance always a good sign! I hope you get it figured it and also your anxiety! I have bad anxiety I once went into work I was so nervous I hooked myself up to the monitors to make sure my heart…
  • True life but I worked with a girl whose hair was so heavy she could not wear it up without her neck hurting. Pulled into a pony tail it was probably 3-3.5 inches diameter. Beautiful hair. I also went to school with a Native American who never cut her hair her whole life until she joined the Air Force. It was longer than…

  • If your doctor wasn't worried about the ekg I wouldn't worry about it. It's literally a small snap shot in time and while the machine will give you a reading each ekg is read by physician. It's like lab work, it gives you data but only for a moment in time. Feel free to call the doctor who ordered it and ask why it was…
  • Well not a doctor but I am an icu nurse. You can have a pretty jacked up ecg and normal blood pressure (which while yours is okay for an icu patient it is pre hypertensive for the real world...). ECG isn't necessarily going to influence your blood pressure and vice versa. Had a patient a few weeks ago on perfect sinus…
  • Heart failure? Kidney disease? That's what truly holding onto fluid usually indicates so I'd probably go to urgent care or ER if you are being serious.
  • I always assume they're just embarrassed to eat what they want in front of people because they're overweight and make up for it in private lol.
  • I took topax for migraines and I would not risk the side effects for weight loss. I ended up developing pre osteoporosis as a teen because it is detrimental to your bone mass. Not worth it when if you don't have uncontrolled migraines or seizures and the benefits outweigh the risks.
  • Do.... you even understand how it all works lol?! Yeah I'm sure countless OB/GYNs over the years have just been giving me damaging health advice. Skipping periods on birth control is not the same as having a hysterectomy, my uterus is chilling happily right where it belongs lol.
  • Waaaaay back in college I had my ferritin tested which was borderline low. Doctor suggested to use birth control to stop my cycles (mostly- maybe had 7-8 cycles past 5 years?) to keep iron stores up and it was life changing. Not an option for everyone though. There is no medical reason to have a period.
  • I look humongous at anything over 110 and try to keep around low hundreds. Fine bones and 5'3"
  • Why can't you meal plan in advance? And reheat. I work nights and that's what works for me. And certain foods aren't for certain times of day. If you want dinner at "breakfast" what's wrong with that?
  • Nurse here- hell ya for sticking to your guns and being persistent. A lot of medical conditions have overlapping symptoms and when there seems to be a horse clomping around it's easy to ignore the hooves you hear are sometimes zebras so to speak. Anyways, I'm happy you were empowered enough to get answers and they figured…
  • Bluntly put- you seem really desperate and entitled. Have you started chasing out diffferent types of women (aka unicorns) since losing weight? My guess is you have and you could still get all the play you wanted from those same types. People can sense entitlement and feeling like they're some prize for other people and…
  • The high reading could be because you have hypertension lol. Typically diagnosed after a few visits though- it's not exactly uncommon. As a nurse it's always interesting to hear the excuses people come up with for their hypertension besides just having hypertension. If you hear hooves, there's a better chance it's horse…
  • 5 lbs probably isn't gonna make a huge health difference. Last year, I weighed 87 lbs and my bmi was 15.4- that does make a health difference. This year I struggled and managed to gain 9 lbs which brought me to a bmi of 17 still a bit underweight but I feel dramatically better and know once I manage to gain a bit more I'll…
  • My eating disorder was caused my trauma
  • It's a common misconception. All forms of birth control have failure rates the antibiotics (unless ones rarely prescribed) were just coincidental. ;)
  • All the roids on the planet won't make you gain 5.5 lbs of muscle over night lol.
  • I find my extremities get cold as there is more blood in my core body. I'm constantly cold all the time though. I wear lots of layers and I second the heated blanket. I do find wearing fleece under performance wear tends to be a bit warmer for me (and this is running in freezing weather/boarding on Colorado).
  • I shop at grocery stores and eat what I normally do.
