I was in 11/12 jeans and XL and XXL shirts. After about 60 pounds lost I'm in 7/8 jeans and large/medium shirts. And that's taken me less than a year, if I had cracked down and been faithful the entire time I'd say it would have taken half that time. No good pictures though. :(

I might see a minor change, but try not to do comparisons in such a short time. In my experience it can be disheartening. It's much more motivating to look for changes when they're going to be more noticeable.

I eat whatever I want as long it's within my calories, so when it comes time for a cheat meal I just allow myself 200-300 more calories for that day. Usually no more than my maintenance level.

SW: 200 lbs CW: 140 lbs GW: 120 5'3 21 years old Started about a year ago at 1200 calories, with many many slip ups and a two month long plateau. It was very unattainable for me. I've recently went up to 1400 calories and it's been much easier and helped me break the 155 I was stuck at for a couple of months.

Eggs with salsa or a Breakstone cottage cheese double (pineapple) which are only 100 calories. These are great for when I plan on having a big dinner. They also make great snacks.

I've been getting rid of my bigger clothes, with the exception of a few shirts that I sleep in. Mostly because I don't have the space, but thankfully it hasn't crossed my mind once that I may need them again one day. I'm so glad I held on to my smaller clothes since they finally fit me. I find that I'm not trying to run out of the camera's way quite as much. Also since losing weight in my face, my resting b*tch face appears to be less severe now, which I think is making me more approachable.

Left during, 155. Right before, 195-ish. So glad I decided to compare my pictures, despite the number on the scale and smaller clothes I felt like I looked exactly the same. If you're not comparing your pics, do so immediately. It's so motivating to see everyone's progress. You all look wonderful!
