  • I'm a mom of a 7 month old ebf. I gained 70+ pounds! 20 more to go! Would love to be part of this
  • Hahaha! I didn't notice but now I'll have to check! I fell off the wagon, I've been doing yoga and gym to get out of my house. Congratulations though, you rock
  • Maybe change your diet and add different exercises in. If you want a cut look try more vegetables and complex carbs like sweet potato. Non processed foods and real protein. Not all protein shakes are good for you. Some will bloat you too. My aunt transformed her body by eating a like a body building model and training…
  • Didn't get to do my video the last 2 days! Thursday's and Friday's are hard for me, I get about 4 -5 hours of sleep. I'll start again tomorrow, miss the work out! Congratulations on your hard work!!!
  • She says the workouts are 20 minutes each. There is a lot of warming up and cooling down so the video actually runs for 30 minutes. Yea her workouts are pretty upper body intensive... Weights, mountain climbers, many plank variations. And she always throws in cardio but you get a "break" when you do abs. You'll enjoy it,…
  • I definitely think so. In the morning we have so much natural energy! Our minds are ready to go! I have often do them at night and need a little energy boost... Coffee. That's great that you did it tho!
  • That's great! I love that you have a plan! Jillian Michaels has a great way of splitting up the video so it doesn't feel that long. Definitely keep posting and let me know how your doing!
  • LOL! I was good tonight. He smacked on philly cheese steak hot pockets and Oreos and I said no! I'm sure it's because I upped my calories
  • What?!?! Brocolli protein bars! I definitely need to look those up. I also like the lunch idea too. I generally eat my lunch at the traditional 12pm, so by 5pm when I need to workout I'm really hungry.
  • That's interesting, eat less than your maintenance. Smart! A fellow MFP friend calculated potential goals for me and my calorie intakes were even higher than 1700/ day. I've spent so much time not caring about my calories (which is how I gained 20lbs) that I over complicated everything! Thank you :)
  • I like that! Thank you!
  • Aw man! Larissa and nutmeg are hilarious!!!!!! I was overwhelmed with all of the positive helpful messages that made me really look at the decisions I was making. I thought I knew what I was doing but was clearly wrong. I've received great advice from top notch people and I will do the work! Here's a big THANK YOU to…
  • I will definitely use the gram function! I am the saaaaame way with the cheese! I also used to think it was normal to eat as much as my 6 ft. tall husband. If I saw him eating something in my head I thought, "yuuuuuup I'm gonna have some too"
  • I am really happy everyone agrees upping my calories will lead me to success. I struggled eating 1200 calories off and on since August and really didn't get anything beneficial from it. I really was clueless to what I should be eating!
  • THIS will be a work in progress! I am known to eat like I'm starving (under 5 minutes for a whole meal) not sure why I do this but I have been told many times that my quick eating pace could be my problem too. Thank you!
  • I do need to incorporate more activity in my day. During my work week I tend to lose focus. Maybe I should drink coffee an hour before I get off from work for a little energy boost?
  • Yes! I'm pretty sure all of my failures in my weight loss journey is due to extreme diets. I lose weight for 1 week and then go crazy the second I smell pizza, hamburgers or whatever because I was not nourishing my body. Thank you !
  • I do need to drink more water. I see that people also count other liquids as water too. I'm starting to carry a 33oz. Water bottle around to encourage myself to just drink it.
  • I tried your advice since I can't run/jog too long. I spent more time walking to burn more calories and actually worked up quite a sweat today! Very happy with the outcome. I think I will invest in a heart rate monitor for accuracy.
  • Thank you! I did get a biggest loser food scale and it's so easy! I finally know what 1 oz. of cheese actually looks like. I was definitely under estimating my foods weight.
  • You are on the right track ! Glad to hear that you are working towards your goals! Wk 1 was rough for me too. Apparently wk 2 has the highest calorie burn out of all 4 videos so I'm hoping I can make it through the whole video
  • Congratulations!!!! I'm about to begin wk 2! I also go to the gym on days that I have some extra time
  • I think I will be able to stay on track with the 1700 calories per day. You're right about a good extra snack! I'm looking forward to my adjusted calorie intake progress!
  • I'm 5'4. I recalculated to .5 lb/week and was thrilled to see that I have over 300 calories left! I'll try to post any changes that happen for me. I honestly felt very exhausted and wondered how people managed. Thank you!
  • That's good to know! I was looking at other people's food diaries and saw a lot of women on a 1200 calorie diet so I assumed that was appropriate. I'm ok with losing .5 a week. I think long term I could actually keep it off too. Especially since I won't feel so deprived!!!!
  • If this is still going on I would love to join!
  • Good news is you are aware that you had a slip up! I recently went through this too, I was halfway to my goal then ended up right back where I started! Keep track and log your food, get outside or do a DVD to get some endorphins pumping! At first it SUCKS but then you lose your first couple pounds and feel good again.
  • I love this, I'm actually canceling my membership for this exact reason! No time to drive, get head in the game, then actually get quality workout that isn't just the treadmill. Working out at home is way better than staring at strangers! For me that is
  • Day 1, wk 1: loved the strength training but the weights became overwhelming at the end of the video. I'm really proud of myself rt now!
