Awesome....the more people who benefit the better!

Vision Boards can be used for any goal..not just weight loss. You should update your board when you feel there is a need. It can be every couple of months or weeks... it's based on how you FEEL about your board. Only you know when it's appropriate or needed. I actually posted all the steps to Vision Board creation from…

Well I appreciate all the positive comments here... I tend to be a positive person no matter what I attempt, and I enjoy the support of community. Vision Boards are a proven effective tool for goal achievement...and weight loss is a goal. Others post on here what they do for a living, so I'm no different from them. I…

They are very similar! Thank you so much for posting! I have several people in my family that were misdx'd and they were told they had MS because they're so similar. Sarc mimics cancer so it's scary. I get it. Do you mind me asking what you're struggling with? Among several, my biggest challenge seems to be include weight…

You are SO WELCOME! and you're also very correct in stating that visualization is very effective.. it's a very important part of creating a vision board.. a vision board works as a bridge.... it assists in bringing the vision you hold in your mind.. across the rivers.. (whether calm waters or emotional turbulent waters) to…

Yep...I'm an emotional eater. But it depends on the emotion. If I'm upset, then I can't eat at all.... if I'm bored or agitated....OH BOY...look out! I can eat anything and everything that's not nailed down. I actually took a picture of my vision board and stuck it on my fridge with a magnet so I would see it every time I…

You're correct. There is never a reason to pay anyone to create a board for yourself. A vision board isn't something that anyone else can create for you. It's personal and unique to you. People go to life coaches to overcome obstacles and fears, and understand the process of goal achievement moving forward. They pay for…

You're correct, and thank you for stating that for me. I guess I should have been more clear. I do coaching for a living yes. But I'm not selling anything here. This is actually the first time I've used on of my vision boards for weight loss as well. So I'm actually just offering to share what I know about the boards with…

All of these are great questions! Our "fears" are our obstacles, False Evidence Appearing Real. In my opinion...ALL vision boards are evolving, the key is finding a technique that allows you to make changes easily. I recommend a cork board for consistently revolving boards. But you can also use poster board too, you just…

Hello there! Thanks for the reply! I can use all the support I can get..feel free to add me as a friend! :-)

Sure I agree with that ...and you're fortunate. I had a difficult time getting started with my weight loss.. I'm 47 years old, have a health condition that prevents me from losing weight and it was difficult for me to get started. My vision board simply helped me focus. If it's not something you're interested in, then…

Here's an example... but each one is different.. and can be anything. It's really there to help motivate... keep you on track and remind you of what you're trying to accomplish. You can actually use it to achieve any goal.. I just decided to try it for weight loss.. and it's helping me, so I'm sharing with others.

I agree with you! No fancy products or commercial weight loss concerns are needed. A Vision Board isn't fancy at all. It's a poster board/piece of paper/cork board/old photo of yourself ...anything that you create or use as a tool to keep you focused. Everything you speak of it TRUE! The advantage a vision board gives you…

My stomach is always the last place I see it... so I get that 100% I also agree with "Faithful_Chosen", if you see change...then there is change... roll with it. It's all about staying positive and continuing to believe in yourself. Honestly, 7 pounds is HUGE... really awesome. :)

I'm new on here, but would be glad to chat and help support one another, so sure.... add me as a friend!

I was told by my weight loss coach that it takes 5 pounds to make a visible difference in the face and just under the arm chest area. So I didn't see your before photo, but since you've lost 7 pounds..congratulations and I'm sure you're not imagining things!

I get it, it takes being invested. I had to take a really good look at myself in the mirror ...in my underwear.. yep, it was brutal. Then....well I'm a life coach, who works with vision boards, so to muster the desire to invest, I created a vision board for weight loss myself. It's actually worked quite well... I'm 20…

I eat fruits and veggies...think it's more about balance and common sense. If you eat ONLY fruit, then add variety ... and STAY POSITIVE! :-)
