Definitely cereal as well. I was surprised with cheese, in the opposite way. I was expecting 1oz to be about the size of a little h'orderve cube :p or at most, an average slice of cheese from the deli, but I get 2 slices for an ounce!

Is there a benefit to having ground flaxseed compared to whole? I buy the golden roasted whole seeds from Trader Joe and throw them in my yogurt whole. I like the taste and texture.

Haha, that happens to me, too. Two people eat, but I never cut down the recipe size. Winter is the worst. The bf likes a lot of soups I make, but by December, the freezer is full of leftovers and the thought of more soup for lunch makes me die a little inside

I feel you. I tried to "just be happy" and "just eat like a normal person" don't think about food. Ha! I, too, turned 30 a couple months ago and thought things would just click, it would be the motivation I needed, but not yet. You can do this, you'll find the motivation for that permanent change. :)

Welcome, you can do this! The google calendar sounds like a good idea. For meal planning, are you ok with crockpot meals? I love it and is so quick and easy. Often times, very little time in prep. I usually throw the ingredients in the night before, to save time in the morning.

It could be because it is just old, or I'm impatient, lol. It doesn't even really do ice that well anymore. Thanks for the help. Vitamix does sound like the way to go. It looks a lot easier to clean than my old one too, taking all the pieces apart... that might rank above unblended kale on why I want another, lol.

I'm doing something similar. Looking to lose 40lbs and trying to eat at 2-3 hour intervals so I don't end up feeling hungry and eat a ton when I do get my hands on some food. One day down, so far so good!
