I lost 18 kilos on the 5.2 plan. At the end it was harder to loose so I did 4.3. At around 60 kilos I wanted to maintain so I upped my 500 calories to 650 for those 3 days, and stuck to 1600 on non fast days. I was still loosing a bit, so I introduced a cheat meal on Saturdays. I cheat every sat night and I eat loads. However I do 3 mini fasts of 650 calories every week. This works because I'm in maintenance. When I was in loosing mode I don't think cheating would have worked for me.

Do enjoy yourself and don't worry about calories. Just compensate the following week. I am in maintenance and I do this every week. I eat and drink anything I want in any amounts on Saturday evenings. Then on Mon we'd and Fri I stick to 650 calories. Tue,thus and sun are 1600 calories. I reckon I eat an extra 2000 calories…

I cheat and dont log every Saturday night with a big dinner or take away meal with desert and plenty of alcohol. The rest of the week I stick rigidly to my plan. In doing this my weight stays much the same. Yes maintenance rocks!

I have a BMR of 1200 and tdee of 1400. It took me 18 months to loose 18 kilos.... at first I concentrated on measurements and didn't weigh in for a few months. Then I accepted any small loss as a big achievement. A digital scale is good cos you can see tiny losses. Also don't weigh every week. 2 weeks is enough. Good luck!

I partially fast 3 days a week. 3 days I stick to 1600 calories and 1 day I cheat and don't track. I find this a nice balance. If I ate my tdee of 1400 every day I would feel very deprived. The 1st fast on Mondays is easy and the Wednesday fast is ok. Fridays fast is a bit hard but I'm looking forward to eating nice stuff…

Yes I'd like the answer to that too. I'm not doing any exercise except this abs bar at home most days. And yet the boobs deflated despite no weight loss. I think the fat just moves around the body so that no part is way out of proportion to the rest?

Yea ok,very good, but most food here comes with a calorie count on the label. This is an E U legal requirement. This is not present in the U S ....?

I have started a plan with Mon we'd and Fri at 650, Tue Thursday and sun at 1600, and Saturdays I don't count and have a big evening meal plus desert. I have been doing this for 3 weeks to maintain. It's working so far with the added sat meal. Prior to that I kept loosing.
