But thanks for the answers to my actual question, I figured since I didn't feel like I was about to have a heart attack then it was probably fine and just high because my heart rate is high to begin with. Frankly I just don't have the time for long low intensity workouts.

I don't just focus on HIIT, I can go for an hour at a moderate intensity, but It doesn't feel challenging and I like to mix it up. Plus I never know when my kids are going to start freaking out in the child watch at YMCA so I I don't have very much time. I like to get the most bang for my buck. And everyone has a different…

I read somewhere that the first 10-20 mins are the hardest because basically your body is like wtf is going on and then after awhile its like oh your exercising here's some fuel to help you out. Which makes sense because the first 15 mins kill me but after that I can make it to an hour easy

I prefer the elliptical because of the resistance options, arm involvement and it's easier for me to just keep going. Plus it doesn't hurt my knees and my thunder thighs

There are free jillean Michaels workout videos online, look it up on pintrest and there will be plenty to choose from. I like her beginning level videos but anything after that involves too much coordination for my awkward self so I prefer to stick to the elliptical at the YMCA doing hiit workouts and strength training.…

Google a picture of 5 pounds of fat compared to 5 pounds of muscle. That'll make you feel better . I've also recently started strength training and cardio at the gym and even though I've only lost 5 pounds I can tell I'm making progress NY the way my body feels

They say it takes 4 weeks for you to notice a change, 4 weeks for friends and family and they don't notice unless it's over 10 pounds. Keep going they will and you will notice soon enough
