If your coworker goes to the gym I will just assume she probably put on some muscle or toned up whereas you probably lost all over weight. It’s not a bad thing, it just depends on the result you want. I think a lot of us expect to lose weight in “target areas” but that doesn’t happen from just dieting

Hi there! In turning 25 this month, I’m not “old” but I definitely feel like my body is hanging on to fat more than it used to and exercise has been feeling like more of a chore lately :/ I thought we were supposed to deal with this in our 30’s and 40’s lmfao

I miss wearing shorts, I miss high waisted pants and crop tops in the summer, and sadly I miss feeling like the cutest girl in the gym. High key egotistical.

I’m turning 25 this month (my quarter life crisis) and it’s just dawned on me that my body and my will power are no where near where they used to be! I used to work out every day for hours at a time, I could wear anything, eat anything, and had a great self confidence. I feel you all in the rut!

I used to work in an area that was surrounded by restaurants, good and also fast food. It was too easy to go out on my break and get foods with empt calories, the only thing that ever helped me was to meal prep and to make sure I ate ALL of the health foods I packed in hopes I wouldn’t be tempted to go elsewhere

My family LOVES baking. My mother and my sisters all included. They love the cookies, the pies, it’s nonstop every time we get together. I think portion control is my real objective. It’s so hard to say no to my moms home cooked meals, so instead I go for the tiny portions and make sure I continue to exercise

A friend of mine tried intermittent fasting, but I’m not sure how long she stuck with it, I think she said that t was too easy to cave in to cravings :(

Oh I just wanted to know who likes what brands! I usually sign out my gyms Velaro or Grizzly belt for the day. I'm not competing, I want to get stronger before I go into the police academy ❗️

I'm glad to hear you're doing a 5x5 routine! That's what I started with. Take a month or so and get used to the weight and once you are comfortable you can move up to 10 reps and build endurance. Feel free to add ☺️ I need tips on foods that keep me full through out the day. I always get stuck on high calorie snacks. I would advice you on rows, pull down machines, and chest press! If you want to work under arms use a pulling motion-versus if you want to work upper arms use a pushing motion
