  • I had my second big baby in August and have gone from 240 the day after I have birth to 175. I had the fat apron for five years from my first when I stayed at about 200lbs after his birth. Now at 175 it is way smaller! Almost gone. I expect when I reach my goal of 150-160 it will be gone. I was worried it wouldn't go away…
  • I have pizza every week to two weeks. It's part of my regular diet :) I'm down over 40lbs since October. I just fit it in.
  • I started group fitness Classes at a gym with a daycare when my baby was two months old. He's now 9 months and I'm down 40lbs.
  • Hi there my son is 9 months now and I've been at this while breastfeeding since he was two months old. For now simply track your intake to get you used to doing it. Stick with your maintenance calories. You want to wait until your baby is at least two months old so that your milk supply is established before cutting…
  • 40lbs down and 30lbs left to reach my goal
  • Most women need a minimum of 1800 calories while breastfeeding some need up to 2000. How old is your baby? You can add breastfeeding as a negative calorie food of 300-500. When you do start cutting calories do it slowly or you may run into supply issues.
  • Hi I am currently breastfeeding my 8 month old. I started on here when he was two months old and definitely had to pay with my calories until I found a good balance that allowed me to lose weight but did not affect my supply. I started at 220 lbs and I'm now at 180lbs. My calories were set to 2000 for the first month then…
  • I actually bought gummy vitamins to help my sweet tooth. I usually crave sweets after supper so I take my vitamins and it helps curb it.
  • Fit into my goal jeans today! These are the jeans I bought on my honeymoon 7 years ago before having two babies and gaining 70lbs. I'm a little over halfway to my scale goal, which I'm not terribly fixated on.
  • Both. I am breastfeeding so stick to about 1700 calories a day. I eat everything just stay within the calories. I go to group fitness Classes four or five times a week for an hour each time
  • My almost 7 month old is still up every two to three hours! One day I'll be able to sleep. I've been very successful in this weight loss endeavour. I started in October and I'm down 37lbs with 33 left to go. I have more muscles than I've ever had. I've been taking group fitness classes that include weight lifting three to…
  • Just eat at maintenance for the first and most of the second trimester. It's not until about half way through your pregnancy that you really need to up calories. Even then it is only about 300 more per day I believe. I haven't looked it up in a while.
  • I am only half way to my goal but I have always said my goal is flexible. It all depends on how I feel when I get there. I'd like to be 140-160 but I'm not set on a specific weight just a healthy range. The deciding factor will be how I feel and how my clothes fit. I've always felt focusing on a number is not the best way…
  • I've replaced ground beef i ground turkey in my chili and pasta sauces. This cuts the calories significantly. Spaghetti squash instead of pasta also helps cut down on calories. If chicken is too plain you could try different seasonings. I use chili powder and cayenne to add flavour. Also seasoning salt on veggies is yummy.
  • My weekends are my rest days and I tend to eat more because my husband is home. It is OK for me because I exercise during the week and have extra calories of I go off of my weekly numbers rather than daily. I don't drink that much but if I do it balances out because I'm under during the week.
  • Regina, SK but originally from Richmond, BC
  • Group fitness Classes are my motivation at the gym. I've tried to go just work out years ago and would get bored and call it quits way too quickly. With the group class I have someone telling me what to do and I know it is a set amount of time.
  • Hmm not sure what to tell you for tips so I'll just give a quick run through of what I've been doing. I eat 1700 calories a day give or take 100. Monday to Friday I go to group fitness Classes at gold's gym where I burn between 450-600 calories depending on the class. The classes are: Monday Centergy (yoga and pilates) 400…
  • My sister has a bit of a shopping problem so has a closet full of clothes some with tags still on them. Before I had kids I could fit her clothes so my goal is to be able to raid her closet again! I'm almost half way to my goal weight which should have me small enough to fit everything
  • I down 33lbs without cutting anything from my diet. I might not eat certain things as often as before but I still eat them.
  • My son is now six months and I've lost all the pregnancy weight (30lbs) Unfortunately I was overweight before I got pregnant so I still have 40lbs to go. I found a gym that has a daycare and my oldest is in kindergarten so I go every weekday morning to their group fitness Classes. I've been struggling a bit lately because…
  • I still have 50lbs to go until I hit my goal but I've lost 30 so far and my mummy apron is definitely shrinking. I was concerned it wouldn't and I'd be stuck with it but I'm definitely seeing it shrink as I lose weight.
  • We use cloth. If you get the right diapers they are fantastic. We had terrible diapers with my first and quit by about three months. This time around we got glow bug diapers and they are amazing. My only problem is I have a high efficiency washer that doesn't clean them properly because it doesn't use enough water but we…
  • My little guy is just about six months now and still has me up every two hours at night. It's exhausting but can't last forever right? Ha ha. I'm 1.5lbs from my prepregnancy weight and almost 30lbs from when I started. I just tried on my prepregnancy jeans and they fit better than before I was pregnant!
  • My husband is totally supportive but I would never ask him to change his eating habits just to accommodate me. We tend to eat fairly healthy anyway. There are days when I ask what he wants for supper and he responds with something that just doesn't fit my calories, like chicken wings or hamburgers and fries. On days like…
  • I go to group fitness Classes Monday to Friday each class is an hour long so I do six hours a week. Monday centergy (yoga and pilates) Tuesday active (weights, step, balance and flexibility) Wednesday ride (spin class) Thursday centergy and active Friday strength (weights) I've added in 5k beginner running training as of…
  • I have a five month old baby who still wakes me up every one or two hours at night. I'm lucky if I get three hours in a row and most the time I'm running of of about five hours of sleep. I've still lost 25lbs in the last three months. So for me the lack of sleep isn't affecting my weight loss.
  • I have a lot to lose both from this pregnancy and my last one which was almost six years ago now. I expect things will start slowing down soon. I'm going to be losing about 80lbs all together.
  • You can add breastfeeding as an exercise or a negative food. Just search under cardio or food for breastfeeding. There are a few to choose from. I was using the -300 for a while then just worked it into my calorie intake.
