Yeah, seriously, same with Christmas, no idea why people go so crazy over this food, it's all horrible to me :)
-
Yes! And not even good dog food but some nasty fake stuff like beneful - even down to the package design!!
-
I was so excited when I came upon my first Tim Horton's in Canada, but now I always skip them - they are completely horrible! To go there in NYC is absolutely ridiculous, I would try to skip out later and eat something decent instead. Their food is really, really, really bad.

That's not creme brulee though, that is just pudding.

That is only for corn that is dried (like for making cornmeal), fresh sweet corn has only about 150 per cup.

Not enough to matter.

I wore only super baggy clothes while I was losing weight, it probably looked pretty silly sometimes but whatever. Workout clothes I just use old T-Shirts and compression pants so there was only one change involved (tops I never had to change because I don't really gain weight there).

It says pumpkin spice, not pumpkin? I still want to try them, even at their worst Lindor truffles are awesome!

I think it's for people that have trouble eating veggies if they don't taste "junky" enough. I've made it because I'm vegetarian and like to change my veggies up a little, but if I ate chicken I would just use those as well.

I would never even think of doing low carb since I know I would be miserable on it. Same with cutting sugar, I wouldn't last a week so I don't do it. Still lost a bunch of weight, as long as you can stick to your calorie limit the food macros don't really matter. Main thing for me was finding food that is filling (for me…

Also add some fruit or veggies to bulk this up a little and add some fats. You're basically eating nothing but fairly processed carbs which apparently don't fill you up and now you blame sugar. If you change that you will have a much easier time.

I don't think most people would even put real chocolate and something like M&Ms in the same category so not sure why you are comparing them. People can enjoy both things, they're really different in my opinion. Those M&Ms sound pretty good!

For me fiber is the most filling by far and since fiber is usually associated with carbs low-carb never made sense for me personally either. Here is a link to a study about a "fullness factor" that shows that potatoes and whole grain things are among the most filling. http://nutritiondata.self.com/topics/fullness-factor

I think it's most likely that Fage is allowed to label its product as only containing milk but is actually assembling it from milk that has been separated before, so they add protein or fat back in at the ratios they want. As far as I know the milk fat is removed for all commercial dairy products (even the regular milk)…

I have that flavor in my fridge but I'm too scared to eat it :) In my area these weird flavors are unfortunately way more common than the very yummy sweet ones and so I decided to give it a try, but haven't felt like eating it since....

I haven't been to Kauai yet, but I have also found tons of fresh and "healthy" food on Hawaii. There are many different restaurants with all sorts of cuisines (at least on Maui where I was) so you should be able to find something you like. And lots of Whole Foods type health food stores so if you can cook you can always go…

Because he works for them?

Cadbury Crunchie Bits is among my favorite things in the world!!!

I live on the west coast and so I pretty much never eat bagels since they all suck here, but I was just in NYC and when I'm there I always eat tons, they're just so delicious. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me they had 1000 calories though, they are huge! 300-400 is probably still small-ish to normal sized.

Is this going to be a race or just a leisurely ride? I have only done slow bike tour type rides of that length but I would never worry too much about food for those. I usually take some granola bars and some chocolate or fruit or whatever. And then eat at the stops whatever they have there. If there are no stops I would…

I eat them every day but I never mix all the stuff in in the evening, I only soak my oats in (nut) milk over night, don't put it in the fridge either and then in the morning add whatever I have around, usually bananas, cocoa powder and yogurt but it varies a lot. Really, just soak some oats and see if you basically like…

I also think that it sounds as if you are pretty active, what you are describing is more than lightly active for sure. I have a way less active job (in a lab though so still some walking during the day) and get at least 15 k steps every day walking the dog etc and this puts me at least into active. And unless you are very…

Where???

It does seem a little low, I agree. These are the gnocchi I really like right now: http://www.threebridges.com/catalog/parmesan-gnocchi/ and they're 230 cal/100 g. Granted they contain egg and cheese and yours don't but even from buying plain gnocchi in the past I remember a package hovering around the 600 calorie mark for…

I think you are far from ruined, you look great and are already very thin, so I don't think losing more weight will make you look very different. I think if you really want to improve (and you don't have to if you don't want to) I would try to add some mass to your glutes, that would balance you out a little bit.

I pretty much buy whatever nut milk is cheap that day (don't drink rice or soy, I think rice is exactly like water and soy has a weird taste). They are better than water in overnight oats or protein shake but none are exactly what I would call delicious. Right now I often buy flax milk because of the omega fats, but not…

Haha, yeah, I'm like that too now. And target is definitely the worst.

I actually like it, even though it does have a good amount of calories. I usually just use 1 avocado, 1 older banana and a bunch (maybe 1/4 cup or more) cocoa powder, and throw it in the food processor. I never used sweetener, but I like darker chocolate anyways.

I would ignore the checkmark completely, I have seen enough entries with it that are off. If you are entering a packaged product, confirm with the package information, if it is produce and things like that search for the usda entry, they're more likely to be correct. I also often double check with Google if there are lots…

Cooked oatmeal (from steel-cut oats) takes me very little time to digest too. I suspect it's because the cooking does already half the work for your stomach. Overnight oats (that are not cooked) last a lot longer for me, so I eat those instead.
